Was wishing for WOW but got Meh!!!
The hotel is drop dead gorgeous. The service is subpar and the answer to most requests to make a stay epic is “NO” So many fees for everything under the sun. It was an hour wait at the bagel place for a quick take away bite. We got there a little late in a Friday nite but when we went to get a bite to eat there were no descent sit down restaurants open past 10:00pm, in Vegas on a Friday on a long weekend?!?! Weird. The saving grace was our epic dinner at Mother Wolf. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had. It was my husbands 50th birthday and that meal with their impeccable service saved the trip. For as opulent as this hotel is, they need to do better in the service dept for sure.

Vegas trip
Beautiful hotel, rooms and spa. I was too far from everything tho. The spa was fantastic. Main reason we stayed there was for the coed spa area. Food promenade was good didn't get to any of the resturants other then a cute little cage with amazing service...Jesse and an apple braid

Fleur-de-Lis Executive Suite
Wonderful experience at Fontainebleau, stayed at Fleur-de-Lis Executive Suite, great decor, comfortable, and excellent butler services. Worthy alternative to Wynn Tower Suite Salon, in fact cost less, better services & amenities. Suites has VIP check-in area and private entrance/exit & elevators.

Beautiful and comfortable, but lacking
Fountain Fountainebleau is a beautiful and nicely appointed resort that features most of the amenities we have come to expect from a property of this caliber. That said, there are some gaps in the guest experience. There’s no faulting the design, amenities, or service. However, the property is still not fully realized and has large unused sections throughout. The casino is small compared to the competition on the strip. The shopping is lacking with only a few very high end options. There are no guest shops with needed sundries. The rooms, while beautiful and comfortable with lots of high end features, are missing the details and creature comforts that make for a more pleasant and enjoyable stay (no iron, coffee, or bathroom sundries). And the location, which makes for a relatively quiet and less crowded experience, can also be a bit isolating. Basically, everything is nicely executed and top notch, but there’s very little depth, the details are missing, and there’s no extra conveniences for guests. It’s also worth mentioning that Fountainebleau is expensive. Everything costs more, and not just little, but a lot. Which isn't unexpected. This is a five star property in Las Vegas after all. However, what I find frustrating isn't the high price, but when these prices don't translate into superior service, execution, or experience. They're charging more because they can and that's just price gouging. At the very least, I want to feel like I’m getting something more for the extra cost, and we just didn’t. In the end, we enjoyed our stay, but I don’t think I’d go back. Beautiful and pleasant as it is, there just isn’t enough value in staying here.
