I wish i could have a zero for this review!! the worst ive been at!!
Disappointed with the overall experience! Room was muggy and the humidity smell was awful. No Bathroom door lock, just the two holes in the glass where it was supposed to be. Air conditioning was constantly spilling drops of water in the floor entrance and extremely noisy. From the first person that greeted us in the front desk while checking in to the last ones I could only mention a couple of them that were nice and professional, the rest were super unpolite and rude! We reserved three months in advanced and things were not in place at all like the way they advertised IT'S ALL A LIE!!!!!! pools were full of local tourism from sunrise to sunset, noisy and kids running everywhere. Food was terrible and the lines in one of the only two restaurants were never over. Nothing positive to say about the place, we complained but they kept on ignoring us and every person will take us to another but never had anything solved. Spend your money in a real hotel this is a disaster AVOID IT!!
Hotel service 👎
We were very disappointed with the food and the service! The employees weren’t not polite nor courteous with the guests! They were very rude! the only waiter that was nice with us was Osvaldo he was the only one! I will not recommend this hotel at all. Will never return there again!
My friends and I just visited recently, initially it seemed like an okay place, but soon it was a bore. The room is dark and always muggy, the restroom was hot and the lighting again is terrible. The outlets were weak and few far and in between. The bed was okay, they were very stingy with towels , no amenities like a regular hotel so bring everything, including towels. The food wasnt great, it is not 24 hour all inclusive, so bring snacks. They have 2 restaurants, one you have to make a reservation, and the other closes around 10 I think. The place is a ghost town after 6, the pool bar is closed. Don't expect to be served or offered drinks at the pool, no dj, just spa music all day. You will spend more money, might as well have went to a regular hotel. I would not stay here again.
We had room only here but overall had a good experience. We were offered a sea view room upgrade for $25 usd per night which was awesome. There was a little seaweed on the beach at first and a bit more 3 or 4 days later but still a great view and we liked walking along it. Room was comfortable and nice. Location was ok. I booked here because it looked one of the closest decent priced hotels I could find in hotel zone to the nightlife area. About a 15-20 min walk but as others have pointed out there are buses that run up the road every 5 mins that go all along the hotel zone up to the centre and into downtown if you want. It’s very easy and there is a stop outside flamingo. Just look for the buses with Hotels on. As others have said it is only $1 usd to ride but when you get pesos it is cheaper to pay with these, 12 pesos. We had a great stay here.
