Best of the Best
Fernanda- always there to answer all questions and accommodate requests. She sets the bar very high. I can’t say enough good things about her. Everyone at baggage and check in are so friendly and helpful. Yadira-makes every meal special. Argenz- so knowledgeable about everything he is serving The young gentleman at our tequila tasting with Argenz was so bright and fun. Nadia- so attentive as our pool server Josue- the chef made special lunches that really touched our group Felix- one of our great friends. Always greats you with a special hello and remembers your drinks every year Sandro & Carlos- so fun at cerviche bar. Every year we visit them first. I don’t eat seafood and they get me a burger so I can eat with my husband. The 2 young girl servers in the lobby at night are so sweet and attentive. Pedro- the best of the best at the swim up bar. Alberto- so polite and always smiling Jairo- we have known Jairo for 16 years. He knows my kids so well and we call them to say hi to him when they don’t come with us. So special! Our staff cleaning the room was great! She always made it extra special and the turn done service was a nice touch.

Good resort
Honest review overall good ! Nothing special but nice and relaxing! Pros: Gorgeous beach and good food! Italian and cevicherria were my favs. Air conditioning worked great in room! Nice staff. Prompt help with fixing stuff. Cons: Had a half eaten pancake in room, light that didn’t work, and wet floor, after upgrading and paying $260. Entertainment was consistently an hour behind schedule. Maybe just bc we are here in off season so not very many people? Not very much entertainment, but if you just want to chill and relax probably won’t care. Been to 8 resorts that were all 5 star and I wouldn’t say this one is. Just needs some general upkeep overall. Still beautiful tho!

The sweetest people you will ever meet!
My husband and I stayed at the Fiesta Americana Condesa from October 26 to November 1. The service? 100 out of 10. Some of the kindest, most helpful staff working there. People would come up to us multiple times a day asking us if we needed anything, if they could get us a drink, etc. It wasn’t super busy, maybe because we went there end of October. But everyone was so attentive! Housekeeping: 10/10. Everyday, the mini fridge was restocked, the room and bathroom was tidied up so well. It was so nice coming to a clean room and bathroom after a long day at the beach/pool!! Food: 5/10. You have to keep in mind that at all inclusive restaurants, they make a large quantity of food to appease everyone so you’re not going to get perfectly seasoned, delicious food. Many times the food was cold or hard. Breakfast at the Kalmia had the same things everyday (French toast, cereal, waffles, omelet station, fruit, cold cuts). It was good at first but just got very repetitive after a few days. Lunch would be the same every other day (pasta station one day and fried rice station next day), and when you’re there for seven days, you get really sick of the food after four days there. If they could offer more of a variety each day, that would be perfect. I LOVED Magdalena, Nayeli, and Eladio at the Kalmia. They’re SO kind and take time to speak with you and remember your face and little details. I especially loved Magdalena- just such a sweetheart!! It was so lovely seeing her big bright smile every morning! ROSATO and Mexican restaurant - these two were a miss for us. The staff were again very kind and helpful, but the food was just really bad (to us- again personal preference!! You might like it!!) The San Telmo, steakhouse was pretty good. We went there for dinner three nights, and the food was the best of the three restaurant options. They did have a Thai restaurant which I wanted to go to (I LOVE Thai), but unfortunately they said it was closed for the week we were there, which was a disappointment. All in all, it is a great resort for your money. The staff is INCREDIBLE, the rooms are clean and beautiful, the food is meh, but again that’s to be expected at an all exclusive when food is made at a focus of feeding such a large quantity, rather than quality. I don’t think we will be back here- only because next time we visit Mexico, we want to divulge more into the local culture. The resort was exactly what we needed after this crazy year, but we definitely want to come back to Mexico later in the future and experience more of the local culture!!

The staff is absolutely amazing!!!
Great resort overall. Great food. Amazing beach! Just based on the staff, I would give this resort 6 out of 5 stars. The staff is So friendly, so polite and willing to help. Especial shout out to Diana at the spa Miluma that made me feel like royalty when I was there. Also Elmar the server at the pool! Always anticipating the needs of my husband and myself. Last but not least Vladimir the server of our romantic dinner. He went above and beyond, and I will remember this dinner because of the great service that I experienced!! - Our negative issue was that Unfortunately the water at the shower in our room was not very hot, no matter how long we waited. For people with arthritis that is an important issue. But overall, I loved my stay! Me and my husband felt appreciated as customers and treated like family. I had a great vacation.
