    Awesome & relaxing girls trip

Great girls getaway at Eldorado Seaside! The entertainment staff was awesome. We didnt leave the resort and this was one of the first resorts we stayed at where it was easy to stay on the resort and always be entertained. Juan, Claudia, and Adrian, were great. They were kept everyone engaged in whatever activity they were leading, whether it was bingo, coconut painting or even music trivia. The foam party was awesome. The bartenders particularly Eversain and Luis were great. They always kept our drinks flowing at the pool bar. Beware they do like to sell u things. We weren’t willing to give up an hour of our time to listen to the spiel. I think it depends on what you’re in the mood for. We did the spa & The spa is worth it! We did the treatment with the hydrotherapy. The pools in the spa are a little heavy on the chlorine, so be careful if you have asthma, but otherwise it was a good experience. The swim up pools outside of the rooms are a cute idea but need better maintenance. Lots of bugs make it unappealing to chill in it. We ultimately ended up hanging out in the big pool. The food is decent. The waitstaff are super nice. There are plenty of food options & room service. There didn’t seem to be food served poolside. There’s not much of a beach here. We were told one of the sister properties had a good beach. Make sure you’re ok with this or ok with hanging by the pool.

I Absolutely had a Wonderful time at El Dorado. I stayed in a Suite with the infinity pool access. This will be an annual vacation spot that I visit each year. Relaxing and calming time for a person who made this a SOLO vacation get away.

First visit but definitely not the last

First visit to this complex and stayed in room 1804, a royal suite that also delivered additional benefits due to us bejng part of the prestigetravelers group. The additional benefits included having great butlers (Ana, Ivan and Arturo) and additional services and premium alcoholic drinks in the room. The beach butler Erbie, deserves a special mention as his attention to detail and support for everyone was exceptional. The restaurants were great, we especially liked the Asian and Italian although we tried all 10 over our two week stay. Thanks also to Alessandro for allowing us to have the opportunity to release turtles during our stay .

    Escaping Reality

My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here while attending the wedding of friends. We stayed 1 week. Room: We stayed in the Seaside Suites, 6th floor. The room was beautiful with an incredible rainfall shower. The swim up balcony was gorgeous. We watched the sunrise from our pool and enjoyed the moonlight there as well. The breeze off of the ocean was perfect. Food: I am a fairly picky eater and I loved everything we had. The choices were incredible. Kalay Tay (sp?) had our favorite dessert but you are required to have reservations. Staff: By far, these are the most genuinely friendly people I've ever met. Alejandro and Thomas were great concierges making sure everything was perfect. Sergio was an awesome server at the Seaside Market breakfast buffet. I believe everyone there wanted to make sure we had the best vacation ever. Dress Code: Casual worked almost everywhere. You couldn't just walk into a restaurant in your bikini which kept us from losing our appetite. Additionally, you didn't have to have a formal suit or dress. We ran into one issue with Lomas Travel as we wanted an off-resort excursion. However, they immediately owned up to the error and rectified the problem to our satisfaction. There's a problem still with seaweed thanks to Brazil but they have staff working hard from sunrise to sunset to clear it. We enjoyed our Bali bed right on the water without any disruption from the cleaning. The resort is a bit spread out but that helps keep it from feeling over crowded. There are shuttles that run often in case you'd prefer a ride to walking. They offer many activities to stay as busy as you'd like but we preferred to relax and enjoy the ocean more than anything. We even treated ourselves to hydrotherapy and a massage which left us incredibly relaxed. I hope to travel here again.
