Want a royal treatment? Perfect place right here!
The best food, exceptional service, brilliant selections. Best place for honeymoon ever. I was obsessed with swim up pools from our deck!!! We had cute towel animals daily! Special surprises because of the special week. I cannot wait to go again and again and again. Only downside, I had to go home....

Our Christmas family holiday - 2024
We went as a family of six adults at Christmas, 2024. This is our third stay at the resort, and while we mostly enjoyed our time, there are a few criticisms. The positives are definitely the staff--lovely, warm, hardworking all the time, the grounds beautiful and well kept. Our rooms were nice (we loved our beachfront Jr. with the balcony overlooking the ocean; can't beat the sound of the waves). Downsides were (1) the entertainment had gone downhill completely. Each night was the same loud rock music until 1 a.m., which caused our daughter and husband to ask to be moved to a different room, which the staff did without any hitch. It seems the entertainment is geared toward a younger more boisterous group of guests. (2) the beaches are small and definitely rocky; no way to stroll them easily as you would normally at the beach, and the concrete blocks are numerous in the water. While the purpose in to keep it from washing away, they are unsitely. (3) probably the biggest disadvantage is their online app to reserve dinner. It seems they now do not have enough restaurants for dinner. You have to almost work days ahead to figure out where and when you want to reserve a spot and hope the online reservation is available. Not relaxing to have to worry about. They need more restaurants for dinner. As an example, the Cocotal which is a fabulous breakfast buffet with every food you could want is no longer open for dinner. While there are several pools around the property, if beach swimming, strolling is important to you, this resort does not deliver that. However, they do provide very nice lounging covered cabanas all along the resort.

A Great Couples Resort
We had a great time - the resort is huge and beautiful and our concierges Ivan Cuevas and Emilio Venegas were very helpful :) I do wish that they had a dinner buffet as it was necessary to make reservations for every dinner and the restaurants were busy. But the breakfast and lunch buffets were delicious!

Ok resort but not at par with others in this price range
We stayed in room 1724 from January 11-18, 2025. We booked a beachfront Jr suite, I'm not completely sure this qualified as beachfront, but it was very close to the beach and pool, so we were happy. Once checked in, we discovered the building had no hot water, we had friends in the building as well, and none of our 4 rooms had it. We reported it to the concierge and the front desk, the issue was never resolved. The safe did not work in our room, again we reported it and it was never resolved. We did receive messages telling us our issues had been fixed but that was never the case. The property is quite large, they do offer golf carts to take you around, we opted to walk everywhere, but the golf carts drive very fast and stop for no one so it was a bit tricky getting around. The behavior of the golf carts actually became a running joke in our group! The property is quite pretty with the natural foliage and landscape though you can see it's age. Our building had been newly renovated so that was nice, but we had no jacuzzi as was listed on our booking so that was disappointing. We found the food to be less that appealing. Kampai was the only saving grace. All food was served luke warm at best, lack of flavor, and our group found Rincon to be inedible. The pools are fun and numerous, getting a chair at the main pool is near impossible. The staff suggested getting down to the pool at 7 to put towels out and save seats, so obviously the issue won't be resolved, but there were always chairs at Fuentes pool. The staff at Fuentes pool is very attentive as well. Overall, if you're looking at a resort in this price range, there are better options. We don't see ourselves going back here again, and that's not how we typically feel at the end of an AI vacation.

Major Disappointment, Look Elsewhere
We were extremely disappointed - The marketing does not match the reality. Rooms are quite basic not luxury at all. Each of our rooms had various issues - no hot water, a broken phone, poor internet. They limt access to dinner with a near impossible reservation system and friendly concierge will just say “use the app” which doesn't help at all. No hot tubs, plain pools, No swimmable beach area, No convenient grab-go food/coffee access. Limited convenience a/o gist show had insane markups (($51 Usd sunscreen) The only positive were staff were very pleasant. And its Cancun so landscape and weather were nice but please don't waste money here. It is run in a “factory tourist mill approach” - skip it
