One of the best resorts in mazatlan. Staff were great and most spoke English (not speaking Spanish is on me though, it's their country ) which was nice . Activity coordinators were involved with guests, food is good, and rooms are wonderful. Staff very friendly!
Ocean view Restaurant, Breakfast and BBQ Evening
Had the pleasure to eat at the ocean front restaurant for breakfast, had a scrumptious buffet. We returned for bbq dinner it was absolutely amazing dinner. Thanks to the grill chefs, manager and staff. Special thanks to our waiter Gabriel. El CID staff 5 stars.
Back to Mazatlan
It's always a pleasure returning to El Cid in Mazatlan. Our room was comfortable - we could have used one queen sized bed instead of two doubles, and it would have been nice to be able to predict when the maid did our room, but that's all minor. We have been coming back to El Cid for quite a number of years and each time is always a pleasure.
We were given superb service and the food was excellent in all the hotels. We enjoyed all of the many pool activities and the friendly staff. The room was comfortable and clean and we had a great view of the pools and the beach. The restaurants served a variety of great food.
