What a surprise for all inclusive!! Nice Romantic spot!
It was a very pleasant surprise! Hotel is bathing in luscious vegetation! Rooms were spacious and updated! Bed comfortable! Food selection was better, in my opinion, than typical all inclusive. Fruits always fresh and even buffet area was very clean and elegant. Hotel has colonial style that created unique ambiance. Beach, although nice, was not impressive only because of seaweed issue which is same in east Florida :( . Bar had premium liquor and Margaritas and Mojitos in the small Mexican restaurant were fantastic. Entertainment team was nice and not annoying. Tulum has so many places to visit. We rented a car and went to see Mayan ruins and Cenotes. Great experience overall! Definable will be back!
Great Resort but HIDE YOUR BELONGINGS!
We went for a wedding with a group of 70+ friends. The staff was very friendly and the property was beautiful. However, we had about $300 cash stolen out of my purse and my husband's wallet that were in our room. The security staff had us file a report, but after 48 hours of following up, nothing was done to rectify the situation. We felt violated that someone would go through our belongings to find the cash and steal it from us, especially after paying over $2500 to stay there! What a disappointment. We will never stay at another Dreams Resort again.
Worth every penny
Beautiful resort right on the ocean. The food was amazing! Like something you would see in a magazine. The staff was incredibly friendly. Always asking how they could help us. Our room was beautiful. We had a balcony that we could sit on and watch the sunrise. Very relaxing vacation!
Everyone says 13 is an unlucky number. We have to disagree. This was our 13th stay at Dreams Tulum and it was magical as always. The beach was absolutely beautiful. Hardly any sargasso and what little there was, was raked and taken away promptly. We have so many people to thank for making our stay perfect as always. Ana, Manuel, Guadalupe, Alfredo and Luis from wait staff on the beach were so promt in bringing us our drinks. We never had to ask for anything. It was so nice talking and getting to know them. Nelva and Claudia from the World Cafe, always greeting us with big hugs and smiles. Filiberto, Desi, Carlos and Eduardo from bar staff. You guys are the best. Amelia, thank you for the great coffee. To Greiven and Sandra, thank you so very much for our room. It was so unexpected and so appreciated. Finally, Gigi, Ricky and Victor from the Entertainment team. You are amazing. You guys work so hard every day to try ti involve guests in all activities. Welcome to Emily, Leo and Nijelly (sorry if I spelled your name wrong), to the best Entertainment Team. We cannot wait until December 8th until we return home again for our 14th time. We love you guys. ❤❤
Just wow! A 5 Star experience - fabulous accommodation, gourmet meals, terrific entertainment, professional service.
It’s a week so since we returned from our fantastic visit. My wife and me were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We’d been to Cancun previously though this was the first time we’d visited Tulum - it certainly won’t be the last time we’ll visit this resort however. When I booked an all inclusive holiday we half-anticipated a packed resort, average food and robotic staff who’d deliver mediocre service standards (my wife works in a popular 5 Star hotel in central London), but how wrong we were. We were shattered after a long journey when we arrived on a rainy evening and I admit our hearts sank when we were told of challenges with the availability of the grade of room we’d pre-booked. We were shown a couple of alternative rooms and then allocated the fabulous Hacienda Suite in the Preferred Club; it was simply amazing. The decor was polished and was exactly as per the website photos - it oozed Colonial elegance. The room was huge and my wife adored the rolled top bath and massive balcony that overlooked the central square whilst also offering great sea views. *I’d recommend the Preferred Club - it’s in a central area where the restaurants are situated and where the entertainment takes place. Booking any room in the Preferred Club is a wise decision, though the modern rooms with private swim-out pool make a very very good alternative. Generally we’re not really attracted by resort entertainment though we really enjoyed every minute at Dreams. There were great acts, fabulous performances and brilliant social organisation by the immensely professional ents team. The food was simply amazing - more fine dining than high volume banqueting as we’d anticipated. There were a number of restaurant options (all open to everyone) - including French, Italian, Mexican, Sushi and Teppanyaki and a fabulous Seafood Restaurant - all of which delivered gourmet a la carte dishes and fabulous service standards. Even the breakfast / world food buffet was impeccable. Similar to the whole resort, the environment was immensely clean and the buffet was always fully charged with a huge range of adorable options - plus a few that could be cooked to order. I am a Coeliac and I’m sick if I eat gluten though, unusually, I had no issues or concerns throughout my stay. Besides the great accommodation and fabulous food I really have to mention the wonderful staff. Sure, they were professional, polite and attentive, though significantly most staff seem to really enjoy their work - it was like enjoying a brilliant vacation with an extended Mexican family. I cherished every minute of our stay! I couldn’t avoid mentioning the names of the significant team members who really made our stay particularly special: Uriel, the Manager of the Preferred Club and Carlos the Concierge, ‘Ricky Minsk’ and his Ents team (even now this makes me laugh). Claudia the Restaurant Manager, who’d each day welcome us to her restaurant and made us feel like we were visiting her home and Javier a fine dining Waiter the French Restaurant. I should also mention every one of the skilled barmen in the Preferred Club private’s bar - the home of fabulous cocktails!
