Horrible stay
I recently stayed at Dreams Sapphire from 2/22/25 to 3/1/25, expecting a luxurious, five-star experience. Unfortunately, my stay was plagued with serious issues that not only diminished my experience but also posed significant safety hazards. I feel extremely disappointed and misled by the advertised quality of your resort. Here are the major concerns I encountered during my stay: Day 1: The TV in my room was not working. Day 2: The lights flickered continuously, creating a disruptive atmosphere. Day 3: A wall-mounted light fixture fell off, exposing live wires. Upon closer inspection, it was clear that the fixture had been taped on—this is a serious safety hazard. The dresser appeared to be poorly assembled, barely holding together. The hallways had multiple broken tiles, creating tripping hazards. This section was advertised as new, but the conditions were far from acceptable. While I appreciate the helpfulness of your staff, the overall quality and safety of my stay were completely unacceptable for a resort that claims to provide a five-star experience. I have photographic evidence of these issues, which I am prepared to share publicly if necessary.

Wedding
We had our wedding performed at Dreams Sapphire. I can't thank the wedding and photography team enough for making our wedding day perfect. Antonio, our wedding coordinator, was a pleasure to work with and was extremely helpful, making the wedding day stress free. Abigail, at Adventure Photos, did a spectacular job with our photos and was so awesome to work with. We could not have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend Dreams Sapphire!! Thank you to the amazing team there.

Great stay for a great price!
This was my first all-inclusive experience, so please keep that in mind! Pros: - The resort is absolutely beautiful! - The food was great and the staff were always helpful and kind. We avoided greens for the most part and made sure to drink purified water and neither of us had any health issues! - The room was very spacious and the bed was a literal dream (being a college student stuck on a twin for the third year). There were little packages left on the sink each day: a sewing kit, dental hygiene kit, a comb, a shower cap, a shoe mitt, and a shaving kit. - My boyfriend and I aren't really "party people," so the calm and family-friendly atmosphere was perfect for our spring break trip! - The app was also super helpful and provided information we wouldn't have had otherwise, like restaurant hours and menus, daily activities, and a line of communication to staff should we need anything. - The main pool was much more spacious than it had looked in pictures, so we were never on top of other people. - There was a night with some different "pop-up shops" in the lobby area with several stands with different items. I bought a small statue and my boyfriend got a set of coasters from the same people and we both had our names and the date engraved on our items, which was included in the price. Were we ripped off? Yea. But it was a cool experience and who knows if we'll ever be back in Cancun! I loved seeing everything the shops had to offer. Cons: - Our mini fridge did not work upon arrival, and it was never fixed--even after several requests for staff to take a look at it. - On our second day, housekeeping staff did not leave us any towels after taking our used ones and also seemed as if they had not finished making the bed. Pillows and blankets were left on the couch in our room, so we thought they may not be finished, but the staff was nowhere to be seen so that was not the case. To be entirely fair, we reached out via the app for new towels and they were delivered to our room in about 30 minutes which was great! - You cannot make reservations at restaurants so it is "first come, first serve," which means you had to be in like at least 20 minutes before they opened unless you wanted a 1-2 hour wait. It was also a rush to the pool chairs each morning, with towels occupying more space than people. - Most chairs were claimed by 7am. My boyfriend and I were usually up for the sunrise so we got lucky, but not everyone did. - Something slightly annoying was that the housekeeping staff did not get to our room until 3:30pm-4pm, as we were on the edge of the resort. In general, the trip was amazing! I think we got a great price for all of the food, drinks, and amenities offered at the resort. There were water bottles provided everywhere and several were left in the room each day. I was worried since we had booked the most basic room/offer so we were a bit restricted on where we could be or eat, but we had a great time without all of the extra amenities offered to the Preferred and Indigo club members. In the future, I would book with those, mostly because they were able to book poolside cabanas for free and a spa treatment was included in their package. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay
A dated but fun resort. Food was decent- nothing spectacular but the steaks were great! Really good drinks, great entertainment and beach plus an awesome pool. Staff were super friendly and catered to your every need. No real complaints. Just go!

The staff, food and resort were great!
We visited Dreams Feb. 1-11, 2025, we stayed in a preferred club room and enjoyed the adult pool. I can’t say enough about the staff at this resort. They were truly incredible. Eduardo, Yami, Archie, Gumer, Ruben and Julio at the Bluewater Grill were so kind, often remembering how much we loved the homemade hot sauce! They remembered our group and always made us feel special. Jose, Omar and Brian at the preferred pool were amazing! These guys work so hard! Jose never stops moving and always makes sure the guests have drinks! Maria was always cleaning up around the pool and stocking the towels, she was always so happy and would help us set up our towels and the umbrellas! Mar from the entertainment staff was so much fun!!! Although the beach had a lot of seaweed these people more than made up for it. I would visit this place again because of the incredible staff!
