relaxing family vacation
There was a good variety of dining options and the food was actually quite good. A number of different pools and hang out spots allowed us to skip the monotonous feeling of most all-inclusive trips. Concierge service for preferred club was a nice touch.

Lush, Pristine and Friendly atmosphere
Honestly a pristine, clean resort with top amenities and very lush, tropical surroundings. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and genuinely kind. shout out to Marcelo, the concierge extraordinaire!! The beach was very clean, no food, garbage or disgusting cigarette butts in the sand anywhere. The entertainment was very enjoyable and had lots of talent on display. The food was terrific, and no issues with cross contamination for anyone with allergies. The only surprise was that the Preferred Club section is located at the back of the hotel property, nowhere near the beach. Folks interested in the Preferred Club level rooms that are close to the beach need to make sure they request Ocean or partial Ocean view. Probably one of the nicest resorts we have ever been to in Punta Cana.

Don't Look Anywhere Else
Don't bother looking for better resorts. You won't find any. Those who are complaining in these reviews are those who will find something to complain about no matter what/where they are. Resort is top tier. 6 Different pools and all have their own feel/vibe. If you want quiet and peaceful, they have it. if you want loud and fun ( for kids) they have it. if you want late afternoon pool party, they have it. The lazy river alone has 50 different areas to set up for the day and relax/play/swim. Food options were great. despite having a no reservation policy, we never waited once. Menu options in all the a la carte were large, and accommodating for kids. Anyone can easily find anything. If you cannot, stay home. Bars all over the resort to find a drink at anytime. Rooms large, clean, perfect. Beach was massive. hundreds of chairs with hundreds always open daily. Ample room for baseball/volleyball/football/any beach game. I've hit double digits for amount of All-Inclusive hotels I have been to, and although I have enjoyed almost all of them, this is the first one myself, and my family will actively pursue to go to again.

Ok time, wouldn’t return
After reading reviews regarding the food, my expectations were not high. Food was average, not as bad as some reviews led me to believe. Best food we had was room service breakfast. Dolores was our bartender at the pool. She was fabulous!! Always friendly and helpful! She was a definite 10 out of 10. Resort is beautiful, however we did not get to enjoy the beach as much as expected due to the “vendors”. Yes, they usually took no for an answer, but there were just SO many of them, you didn’t get a minutes peace. Even just walking through the lobby you were bombarded by vendors trying to sell the excursions. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation spot, I would look elsewhere. Room was clean, however the jetted tub on the balcony was not, so I didn’t dare use it not knowing what may be growing inside the jets. We also had issues with the air conditioning, could never get our room cooled off to where it was comfortable. We found the language barrier difficult at times. Some things that we tried to communicate were not understood so some requests were never received/met. Overall we had a nice time with family and friends for the wedding, just not a destination I would pick to come back to.

Shout out to Yacaira! Thanks for keeping tabs on us.
Whether it was walking on the beach early in the morning to watch the sunrise or heading back to the room late at night after a show, my sister and I felt safe at this resort. No matter the hour, staff was always present and available. Our concierge Yacaira came looking for my sister and I when we did not respond to one of her messages to ensure we were doing well. The solicitors on the beach all wore uniforms so they were not just anyone walking in off the street to sell items. We were at the resort before the incident at a nearby resort, so these protocols were already in place and not in response to that occurrence. My sister and I are laid-back, low maintenance kind of people. We stayed at the non-preferred side of the resort. The rooms were spacious and clean. We loved being right in the middle of everything. We'd walk right out our door to the pool or lazy river. All the restaurants and the beach were just a short walk one direction, and the theater area, gift shop, and lobby were a short walk in the other direction. Not having access to a specific pool, part of the beach, or a specific restaurant did not hinder our enjoyment at all. Once we obtained preferred membership, we still remained on the non-preferred side of the resort and ate at the buffet instead of the restaurants. It was our preference. Having separate areas decreases the amount of crowding in both areas so it works out. My sister and I had the best time. The staff were so friendly. The grounds were beautiful. I can't wait to go back.
