We were sold on the Ocean view Room (room #2527) where in fact it was a view on the nearby hotel and it's parking. Beach is not clean (a lot of seaweed, can't swim there). Food is good (except Buffet at Dinner time). Infinitiy pool is good

Home a week after spending 11 nights in the hotel. Many thanks to all the staff throughout the resort who couldn’t be more helpful. Especially Abraham, Estella & Arcenio in the Seaside grill who took care of us for breakfast & lunch. Spent everyday at the preferred beach where Santiago & Cruz made it a very enjoyable experience.

Dreams resort it’s actually a dream
We were there this month jun 2025 I’m going to start first for the stuff and service is not just one all of them they are so respectful and helpful in every situation My 10 years old daughter enjoyed so much with my 2 year old son. We got room with pool nice views with trees and park. I recommend same room if you want nice little private and peaceful spaces The food is amazing French restaurant Mexican and morning buffet. Is excellent. The steak is very good at buffet and the restaurant by the pool

Jun 13, 2025A solid family-friendly All-Inclusive
We just got back from a 1 week trip to this resort and overall it was a vey nice experience and a wonderful trip. We had an Oceanfront master suite and the room was phenomenal. The bedroom portion of the suite has floor to ceiling windows and you can access the balcony from both rooms. Our view was amazing. The sargasm was pretty terrible but it is not the resort's fault, and you can see the constant effort they put in to try and clear it up. The room was very clean and the housekeeping service did a great job of keeping it clean and replacing towels, etc. This category of room put us as "preferred" which comes with some other amenities such as a separate check-in/check-out, personal concierge service (Maria was great), a lounge/bar with food and a separate a la carte restaurant for breakfast. Overall I thought the added amenities were nice but my stay would not have been hampered without them. We are not beach people in general, but if that is your thing then I would look for a resort near playa mujeres or another area not in the riviera maya. The water is more of a dark green color in this area, at least at the time of our trip, and once again the sargasm was pretty bad. We spent all of our time at the pool. The pools are lovely. There are three pools and they are all right next to each other. There is an infinity pool overlooking the beach and ocean, and it has a swim up bar. There is an "activities" pool and there is a "kids" pool that has some small slides and splash pad type equipment. We got a cabana each day and it was great for us to have a shaded area for the kids, and we got a lot of attention from the wait staff. Shout out to Jonathan who was a very nice and attentive waiter we had 6 out of our 7 days there. My only advice regarding the cabanas would be to book it when you get to the resort, as opposed to reserving them and paying online as there was some confusion regarding this. The entertainment team is amazing. We were especially thankful for Jonathon (a different one) and Antonio, who made my family feel very special. On the last day Jonathon sought out my daughter to give her a bracelet he had made (one of the activities), and she cherished it. Every day at 3 pm they have "Crazy Games" at the pool. This was something different each day including racing other guests on inflatable rafts, jumping over ropes while on a paddleboard, or some sporting challenges. They were inclusive of everyone including my 6 year old daughter who liked to participate every day. There are many activities listed on the app throughtout the day from "sip and paint", to archery , to dance lessons, aqua-zumba, Spanish lessons and more. The night time entertainment was pretty good. They had some cool shows like the African acrobatics show, the "fire show", magicians, samba and capoiera show. While I liked the shows, I didnt love the theater as much as watching the shows outside near the lobby. We have to young kids so we didnt participate much in any late night activities other than karoake so I can not comment much on that. My only criticism would be about the food. The buffet was very small. It was great for breakfast as there were multiple omelette stations and plenty of breakfast options. However it didn't seem appealing for lunch and dinner. My wife liked the ceviche but otherwise the options seemed somewhat limited for lunch and dinner. We tried each specialty restaurant except for the French restaurant as that is adults only. My in-laws ate there and said it was good, but did not necessarily blow them away. We ate at the Asian restaurant Himitsu twice.....once for the main menu and the second time for hibachi. I thought the food was very good here. I like the Italian restaurant, Portofino, but once again it did not blow us away. The menu is good but it just seemed like the food lacked some flavor. The Seafood restaurant was the same.....pretty good but lacked much flavor. The steakhouse is a lovely restuarant for ambiance as it is oceanside. However it took a really long time (2 hours) to get our food and the steaks were severely undercooked. My wife ordered a filet medium and it was rare to raw. This happened twice in a row. The Mexican restaurant was another that was pretty good, but not great. I will say that the wait staff at all of the restaurants were very friendly and attentive and the food issues were not their fault. My wife and I got massages at the spa one day and it was a great experience. The spa was very clean and it had great ambiance. The massages and the hydrotherapy were both excellent. Overall we had a great time at Dreams Riviera. The resort itself is on the smaller size, but we loved it and there was plenty to do. I would recommend the resort to anyone, especially families, who is looking for a nice, clean all-inclusive resort to vacation and relax.

It was a great trip and we had a wonderful experience.
Antonio, Uzzy and Jonathan were all extremely amazing on the entertainment staff. Always taking care of us and being great hosts. They deserve to be rewarded!
