The hotel is family-friendly, but is not well-kept. The food is terrible at the restaurants. The buffet offers lots of options but the service is terrible, the two times we ate there no one brought us any drinks. We upgraded to Preferred Club but the room was still not very nice. Paint splatters on the walls, stains on the couch, chips in the furniture, cobwebs, etc. The "best" restaurant is the french resturant, and it had a 1.5 hour wait to be seated and another 1 hour wait to be served food, which was not very good. The desserts at the restaurants are all the same. My parents had no hot water for 2 evenings in their room, the building had run out of hot water, and the resort was not fully booked.

Jan 19, 2026Awesome family resort! Other than a few minor things it was worth it
For the most part we really enjoyed our stay, restaurants were awesome, and lots for the kids to do, and if your kids are a little older the resort is small enough and set up where you can let your kids wander without worry, there was something happening every night, all the wait staff were awesome! They were all very friendly and came around often to see how we were doing for drinks, they also offered pool side menus so you could have a snack at the pool without leaving. The grounds are in good shape and the staff are always busy doing upkeep,the beach is really nice too. A little down side: Make sure you bring your own beach toys and pool toys and don’t forget anything because if you need to buy anything from the store at the resort it’ll be expensive, i saw $35usd just for sunscreen, i didn’t like how they try to push you to sit through an 1.5 talk about Hyatt loyalty program the the day you arrive, and at breakfast the next day, even after saying you aren’t interested in it right at the start. At times i found there to be lots of cups and, plates and other stuff laying around the pools from the day before that hadn’t been picked up and thats at 10am. Overall everything was good otherwise

January 2026 family trip
Family of 4, just got home. staff was very good! Other than them trying to sell you some sort of loyalty program after you check in and being very pushy about it, our stay was great, kids loved the pools. Wait staff at the pools are phenomenal as well. The weddings didnt bother us, the week we were there, had 3 but it didnt interfere with what we were doing (we heard this was an issue). Restaurants were great, we didnt get to go to the french one cause, kids. Buffet was fairly average, its buffet, it works. Only thing we noticed was alot of leftover drinks and cups around the sun chairs.
