Property is due for updates, restaurants and even buffets are limited, the rare shining light was Zancheliano in lobby bar, he was the only staff that cared to learn our names and be excited to see us, Z was 5 star, the resort 2-3 star but rounded up because of Z

I should have read the reviews before booking. Since Dreams is associated with Secrets I didn’t do much research but they are night and day experiences. Pros: friendly staff, nice pool area, decent food. Cons: dated, room smelled like mold, mosquitoes are unbearable, limited loungers at pool, spa was limited and areas smelled like mold, beach not great for swimming. This resort is past its expiration and really should close for a complete renovation.

Location, Fantastic Service, Welcoming Staff
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the best time at Dreams Playa Bonita! The service is absolutely amazing — we never felt like we were without something, and there was always someone ready with a smile to take care of us. Two employees in particular made our trip extra special: Zancheliano at the Lobby Bar and Kathiel at Portofino. Zancheliano somehow had our drinks ready before our feet even hit the lobby floor — he must have eyes in the back of his head! He’s easily one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had at a resort, and we travel pretty frequently. Kathiel was just as wonderful — she remembered us from our first meeting and always greeted us warmly, even when we were dining at other restaurants. People have complained about the food, but we never had a bad meal! Even the breakfast buffet was great every morning. I also have to mention Eduardo at the buffet for breakfast and lunch — he was always so happy, welcoming, and such a pleasure to see each day. The rooms are very nice, standard hotel rooms with great balconies overlooking the ocean — I believe all rooms are at least partial ocean view. The pools were sparkling clean, and the beach was perfect for looking for seashells. Everything around the property was clean and very well maintained. The location is another big plus — only about 30 minutes from downtown Panama City and 15 minutes from the ferry to Taboga Island. Uber rides are affordable to and from the hotel, and the security team always ensures guests are safe, even confirming details at the gate before you leave with your driver. We will definitely be back to Dreams Playa Bonita for future stays in Panama. It’s a beautiful resort with wonderful people who truly make you feel welcome!

10/10, Sanchez numero uno!!!!!
Numero uno bartender 🥳 Sanchez makes the best drinks and the best videos for the guests. 10/10 experience and a lot of that is due to him. The staff as a whole is excellent, there are too many to name but it’s the best part of the stay.
