Very relaxing vacation
Had an excellent week at this resort. The staff are amazing. Wonderful beach,no seaweed. The resort was half empty. Would definitely return. My only issue was with my air line as they never informed us that 50% of the resort would be closed due to renovations. Don’t let this stop you going as you don’t know they are there. That being said it was disappointing we could enjoy the entire resort . Just would have like to have been informed. Loved the beach party. Great day time games on the beach. Stayed in building 5 ,it was very central.
Great with Allergies
I have a multitude of serious allergies so with this being my first trip outside of the USA, I was extremely nervous. Each night my fiance and I ate at a different themed restaurant. First was seafood and grill, second was Italian, and third was Mediterranean. On every menu there were a handful of items that could have killed me if consumed. Every waiter was extremely courteous and went through every ingredient of each dish. If there was a hint of a language barrier, another person was brought over to ensure things were safe. We ate breakfasts and lunches at the buffet where I very quickly became friends with the staff: Ansley and the manager Henry De Leon. Each meal Henry took me through the entire buffet and recommended things to me before finally going back to the kitchen to have them prepare a separate plate for me. He was absolutely incredible and the food was delicious too! For those with allergies and are concerned about traveling, this would be a great place to start!
Only thing better than the beachfront venue is the personal service.
It’s difficult to beat a beachfront hotel near opal colored waters in the Caribbean, but the staff of this wonderful resort provides a level of service exceeding any and all expectations. The GM Pedro Tomás has set the example of what hospitality really means: anticipating needs, searching for ways to satisfy guests and Going the extra mile to delight guests. This same level is enjoyed from the Butler staff, servers, room attendants and the entire staff. If you are going to fly to an Island, and invest in a few days away, this place sets a standard that is difficult to exceed. Thanks to Pedro and the entire staff for thrilling us and looking for a date to return.
Great Family Vacation
Our trip to the Hilton La Romana Adult Resort was great. We were in Punta Cana in October 2018 and this resort far exceeded our stay at a different resort. The food was delicious, so many varieties and always abundant. I was on vacation with my husband and two adult kids, there was something for everyone. Our amazing bartender, Emilia Rijo at the preferred private pool was always ready with our next beverage and remembered what we were drinking. One night our meal took rather long in the Italian restaurant, the waiter and other staff noticed we left before dessert and asked if everything was ok. We said it was 10:00 and the meal took two hours. We said everything was ok and left (we did not leave our name or a complaint). The next day we had a note to call, the staff asked what they could do to make it up to us, we said it was fine, but that night at dinner we had amazing service and attention to our every need. My kids said it felt weird to be so pampered. Loved the resort. Lots of construction but will be amazing. Everyone was so happy and willing to help us in any requests. Great memories were made at an amazing Hilton Resort. Felt very safe and had beautiful beaches, rooms, and grounds. Loved the 24 hour coffee shop!
Hilton La Romana
My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at the beautiful Hilton La Romana and the staff there were absolutely amazing and so welcoming. They provided us with such fantastic service and made our experience special. I also enjoyed the spa facilities and had the privilege of having a deep tissue and reflexology massage by the wonderful Moraima - She was EXCELLENT! The service was on point and she really took time to understand and listen to my needs. So friendly and always with a smile. Thank you and was a pleasure meeting Moraima and the team.
