Will get to five stars soon
In my many years if travel, one thing I have learned is that what may be important to me might not be to someone else. So I will go through my bucket list with grades😎. Resort itself is beautiful and has been under renovation since becoming a Hilton a year ago. Met or exceeded our list. 2: people. Never have I been at a resort that was so fully staffed with smiles and will do attitude. Incredible. 3: Food; since all inclusive I will gladly mention that they have a true international guest list so not every dish will sit equally on all’s pallet. BUT not to fear they will happily make it again to your taste or make you something else. Overall had a few exceptional meals like the rack of lamb in the Noor, and many meal I will say were very good. In particular I really loved the stews served at the buffet. Breakfast there a couple of choices but for us the buffet was tops. All the usual choices plus home made breads of every type along with unending fresh fruit made the start of the day special. We didn’t partake of the pool side snack service but suffice it to say that friends at the pool thought they were good. 4: Entertainment team. I don’t know when they sleep? Post dinner about an hour live music/singer outside the lobby. And by the way after the shows on the beach, they perform again in the lobby. Never made the 3AM disco but assume like every thing the team did, it would have been fun. Our favorite post dinner show was the Retro Dance and Music show. I did not want to end this without mentioning the peaceful and totally relaxing pool and pool bar. Tasteful and got home last night having a great reboot on my brain.
Fantastic resort with exceptional service
Just returned from a week stay at Hilton La Romana. The food was a delight and the service was exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed the beach and the view. A big thank you to Julissa, Rene and Elizae from guest relations who took care of us for the duration of our stay. Also to Jorge and Henry in the restaurant who were always smiling and provided the highest level of service.
Amazing stay at Hilton La Romana
Stayed at this resort during the 1st week of November and cannot fault anything. Was a bit cautious coming to an Adults only "all inclusive" resort, thinking there would be a lack in some sort of service (in general i find the premium resorts generally offer half board), but I stand corrected. Everything about this place was fantastic and although there is work going on at the hotel, you could not tell. Noise was at a minimum, beautiful clean beach and amazing warm water. The food was fantastic. Buffet exactly how a high class resort would have it, not rows and rows of selection made to a mediocre quality, but instead a decent selection all to a very high standard. This hotel is lead from the front - Rene the front office manager and Julissa at concierge; everything started the right way having them there and they were always available if needed. To anyone thinking about going to this hotel - book it now...
Amazing seven day stay
I stayed in the Hilton La Roman Resort for 1 week and was amazed by many things 1. Unlike a large portion of all inclusive resorts, although everything was included, it was of the highest quality and this included the food. Not all the a la carte restaurants were open every day but they rotated and there was plenty of choice. My personal favourite was the Sakura Asian resturant but also tried the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Italian and French. However, the buffet was also delicious 2. There have been complaints of the construction work but I was unable to hear anything 3. The snorkelling team (scuba caribe) were amazing and took us on a 1 hour trip to a local area to snorkel. Despite not speaking much English they were very helpful throughout 4. The guest relations team especially the manager Renee and Julissa were always happy to help with a big smile
Visited Hilton adult resort in November, firstly I would like to say we stayed on the beach everyday could hardly hear the construction work, the hotel itself was very nice the staff from front desk to housekeeping amazing always smiling and very helpful a special thank you to Julissa at front desk who helped us out every time we needed anything she was brilliant, also a big thank you to Pablo Picasso he made my day everyday he was funny witty and made us all laugh, Hilton should be proud of all their staff, they all made us feel special. Even management were lovely specially came out to see my son as he had emailed him beforehand. Food - we had food at the buffet restaurant which was good but all the a la carte restaurants in the hotel were amazing I personally couldn’t fault any of them, they had Caribbean, Mediterranean, Italian, Seafood, French and Oriental Asian visited all of them. All in all our seven day stay was not enough need to go back.
