We did a quick family vacation to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We wanted some place sunny with a beautiful beach and came across the Hilton La Romana. Added bonus that it is an all inclusive resort. Although part of the property was closed to renovate the remaining portion of the property was beautiful. The staff was great and super attentive to our needs and especially our 9 month old son. We all had a great time and enjoyed our time at the resort. It was so relaxing.
Felt like Family
I travel a lot to the various islands for business, and stay at all inclusive’s. This time my husband and I went for vacation and tried Hilton. I honestly have never been so well received by any hotel. From the moment we were picked up (used DAT/excellent) to departure the people we’re friendly, kind and welcoming. Everyone says” hola” with their hand over their heart to let you know they mean it! The hotel is renovating the adult side so we had fewer restaurants to choose from, but it looks like it will be awesome when it is completed in July. I recommend if you go before then to find out WHICH restaurants are open WHICH nights during your stay, so you don’t get stuck eating at the same one multiple times. Note* Italian and French restaurants require men to wear long pants. Night time entertainment is a bit lacking in quality and punctuality which is why I gave it 4 stars. We will definitely go back next year when adult side is finished.
Great Hilton Experience
This resort was amazing, I loved it and definitely come back. The Staff was very friendly, Yoel Rijo, Yokohama (Daniel Silverio) at the Asian restaurant, Yeuris at the Steak and seafood, Bienvenido at the Buffet, Isabelle at the Kids club treated my daughters as her own. Mayte at the Front desk was very helpful, Franchesca at the concierge. Overall great experience, I have been to other hotels at Punta Cana and Cap Cana and had bad experience but the Hilton is by far my best experience in DR.
Staff made you feel at home!
Our trip to Hilton La Romana with our family was an awesome experience! A big group of 22 people is hard to satisfy sometimes, but Hilton and it’s staff memebers did just that. I would like to thank Juan Daniel for making this trip for our family easier and more relaxing. He treated us like we were his own family always making sure everyone was doing alright and would take time to talk to each of us and made an effort to get to know all of us better! Pablo Picasso, Eddie Murphy, and Beyoncé did an awesome job with entertaining the whole family and got us all involved with the activities they did through out the day. I have to say that the staff at Hilton La Romana went above and beyond my expectations and really made us all comfortable and happy with our stay. They showed they cared and that’s what really stuck out to me on this trip. The quality of the food and also the staff at all the restaurants were very pleasant and did their jobs very well! A special thanks to Carlos Francisco for always taking care of our large group at the buffet! The resort for being an older reasort is very well kept and maintained. The pool side grill/pizza bar is a must, surprisingly the have some very good pizza. Also check out the coffee shop for some great pastry’s and beverages. All in all I really enjoyed this trip and the family couldn’t agree more! Looking ahead to the future trips that will be planned here!
Beautiful resort beautiful staff
What a wonderful week in Bayahibe. This is an amazing facility with plenty to offer. The food was also top notch with several restaurants to choose from. The hotel is full of entertainment options during the day and at night also. The tour of sanoa island and Catalina Island was a nice day out at sea or relax by the beach with cold drinks. Make sure you see Richard the bar man at the beach bar, he is one of the best. I highly recommend the passion fruit mojitos !! Happy travels Mike from Canada
