Nice Resort
All in all the resort is nice but needs an update soon! Pool areas and grounds are beautiful. We discovered the first morning, if you don't get chairs before 8 am they are very hard to find! We didn't enjoy the music at the main pool so we spent all of our time at the preferred pool. The servers and bartenders at the preferred pool were amazing! We would like to recognize Javier, bartender at preferred pool, Victor, pool concierge, Victoria and Esther servers at the preferred pool, they were the best! Majority of the employees were great but we would like to recognize Eduardo at Tamarindo Restaurant, Juan at the French restaurant and Sebastian at Cin Cin! The only restaurant we had a bad experience with was the Italian restaurant. Service was very slow and our food was cold when we finally got it. We did the breakfast once at the French restaurant but the service was so slow we didn’t do it again. Took over an hour and a half from start to finish. Overall we thought the food was a step down from Secrets but very acceptable for a Dreams resort. We had a great spa experience! The super bowl party was amazing! It's so unfortunate that our overall experience had to go from a 5 to a 1 based on our reservation, room types and check-in experience. This has been addressed with UVC and Hyatt.

Dreams Jade family trip
This is our second time in two years returning to the Jade and we had even better time this year. We love the location, the beach, the resort layout, the restaurants, the preferred club and the pool area. The best part of the vacation was the Entertainment team and the special activities: The BIG GAME and the Valentine's day pool party. Special shout out to Dylan, Antonio, Saul and Suh, who we met last year... They did an amazing job, every day, every evening. The Jade Entertainment team is a special group of people that goes above and beyond for the quests! Thank you for the great experience!

Winter 2025 Trip
Just got back from our second trip at dreams jade resort. We were there from February 8-15, 2025. We had a fabulous vacation. Our weather was perfect, food was great, and staff was wonderful. Some of our favourite staff members were - Miguel from the teppanyaki restaurant. Calix from the mix bar - I would regularly ask for something fruity and not too sweet and he made me fancy cocktails every time that were great. He was very personable and my husband and I loved chatting with him. From the buffet - Edwin and Lourdes were both very engaging and always so joyful. From the entertainment staff - both Dylan and Suhjei brought great energy to the days and the events they were a part of. Wonderful resort and well worth the money. I am sure we will be back for a 3rd time at some point! Also heated pools are always nice, no wristbands, and no dinner reservations are needed. All pluses for us!

Dreams Jade 2025 honest review
We have just returned from a 10 night trip at Dreams Jade and had a fantastic time. The hotel is very clean and the reception area smells lovely! The pools are large and spread out and there are plenty of sun beds available. Our room was spacious and had everything we required although we were placed in block 1 which while being handy for the pool was quite a noisy area to be in. The staff were wheeling cleaning trolleys past our room around 6.30 every morning and made a lot of noise. If you wander out of the hotel grounds you can walk about a mile along the road and spot crocodiles and cute little Coatimundi who look a little like a raccoon with a long snout like an anteater . Food We ate at the Mexican restaurant twice the food was very good, our server Ricardo was lovely and really went out of his way to make us feel welcome , he is also a fellow Duo Lingo user and was very kind about my attempt at speaking Spanish! The hostess Yareli was also lovely and always had a smile for us and a friendly word. The buffet food on the whole was good my hubby had no problems although I struggled as a pescatarian a few times. Some more veggie options and clear signs over the food would be helpful. The lunchtime restaurant Castaway was good for food with plenty of choice but would benefit from a booking system as it was chaotic every day . Trips We used Uber to travel to Puerto Morelos for a couple of hours which was easy, the taxis from the hotel are more expensive to book. We also had a day at Cozumel and hired a jeep, the eco park is a must see we saw wild crocodiles and the beach was beautiful. We booked an organised trip to Tulum and Coba with a stop for lunch at a Mayan restaurant, and a swim in a Cenote at the end of the day. This was fantastic the water in the Cenote was crystal clear and well worth the slightly scary trip down the winding wooden steps to reach it! Overall we were really pleased with Dreams Jade and were touched by the lovely Mexican people we met who just seemed so positive and friendly.

Great resort
Overall the resort was great, it’s a great size and really good food. The pool is great and the beach is great to walk on (it’s really rocky for swimming). The check in process was a bit of a nightmare. We were traveling in a large group and with a one year old. Our room wasn’t ready until almost 1.5 hours after everyone else. We had requested a joining rooms and a crib and they told us they didn’t have joining rooms just family suits (but others in our group had doors for adjoining rooms). We had to call multiple times and continue to visit the front desk to get our crib. We booked months in advance so expected the crib to be in our room upon arrival as this is common with “family” resorts. We did finally get adjoining rooms the next day but was still a headache. Everything is always “20 mins” but then takes hours. All in all it is a wonderful resort and the bartenders and other staff throughout the hotel were great. The checkin process could just use some work.
