Beautiful and clean hotel. Comfortable bed, the room was quite modern. Friendly and helpful staff . Food and drinks were excellent. Overall great atmosphere, I would definitely return to Dreams Calva! The beachfront was just a short walk away, many shops and restaurants to choose from.

Lovely place, fabulous staff…
My wife and I are here at the moment, but going home soon. I just had to say something about this hotel. It is near the end of the season and I don’t know if this is why, but the hotel seems under staffed. The staff that are here are really friendly, helpful and professional, but they can only do so much!! There are queues for everything. We see staff members in the morning as we go to “claim” our sunbeds, then we see them at breakfast, then at lunch, then at dinner, then in the late bars that stay open until the last man standing…. They are always smiling and helpful, even when some guests are not always polite to them. We admire them for doing their job as well as they do, and going above and beyond their job description… We just hope that they are getting the recognition that they deserve and the money…. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and well maintained, staff again, and the food is very good and as much as you want. The entertainment is good, not always our taste, but it takes all sorts, and everything is so well organised… It’s a great place and we would definitely come back here and we would recommend it to anyone. We have had a fabulous time, thank you to everyone who helped us enjoy our holiday…

There were good and bad bits to our stay at this hotel. Firstly, we had booked a double room and were put in a twin room - slightly disappointing. The public areas were all very clean, tidy and welcoming. Staff on reception were friendly and not rude. The food in the buffet restaurant was fantastic with good variety and different each day. There was also very good evening entertainment which was mostly tribute acts. Daytime activities included petanque, darts and aqua aerobics. The housekeeping/cleaning in our room was dreadful. The whole time we were there our bedroom floor and bathroom was not cleaned even once. The housekeeper would replace empty loo rolls and replace the towels and do nothing more. After 5 days I asked for the bed linen to be changed - not an unreasonable request after that amount of time, and she replied with " tomorrow, possibly!" When I asked why tomorrow, why not today? The housekeeper huffed and gave me a filthy look and only then reluctantly changed the bed linen. We also had to ask 4 times and wait 2 days for a firm pillow. - This is not the type of shoddy service you would expect from a 4 star hotel. We will not be returning.

Lovely hotel, great location
Beautiful hotel, very clean and perfect location. Only a five minute walk to the bars and restaurants, but in a lovely quiet location with access to the beach right across the road. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice - there was everything you could think of, including, bizarrely, sweets!! There are four pools but one is only accessible to the "preferred club" guests. We weren't bothered because to be honest they were quite secluded and felt a bit segregated. The three pools you can access are lovely, with one having day beds as well. The rooms are spacious and they have shampoo, conditioner & shower gel provided, with the shower being a rainfall type. There is a lovely bar/lounge area where were were able to watch the football. On the downside, there was no coffee in the room and the cleaning staff couldn't provide any, nor did they top up the milk. We also had to check out at noon when we hadn't checked in until the early hours of the previous Sunday, and we were unable to keep the room on. We would have liked to have been offered another room to use as we had to hang about until 9pm.
