Awesome vacation at Divi Aruba Phoenix
My family and I decided to do an RCI exchange to Aruba and chose Divi Aruba Phoenix. We had an amazing time. The resort is beautiful with friendly staff!!! I am very particular about cleanliness and usually bring my own cleaning supplies to do a once over before I settle in. I know...don't judge me. :) But that is the only way I can feel "at home" when traveling. I was so thrilled that I did not have to do much AT ALL! The room was very clean, which made me very happy. We had a studio for the three of us, and it was extremely spacious and had a perfect view of the ocean. It was awesome to watch the sun set each evening. The beach and pool areas were also very clean. We enjoyed eating at Palm Beach restaurant on the property. It was one of the best places we ate in Aruba. The food was awesome! I do want to give a shout out to Shakell, who is one of the front desk staff persons and to Valerie Tromp, who is responsible for the excursions. Shakell was so helpful in every way and accommodated our needs so that we could have an amazing vacation. She has incredible customer service skills and was a great introduction to the wonderful people of Aruba that we would meet. And we absolutely loved Valerie. She was very patient in explaining each excursion and in helping us find the right ones to go on. We were so happy with our choices. We were in Aruba for 4 nights, so we were only able to do the full day Discover Aruba tour with Melvin of De Palm Tours. He was AWESOME! We also did the partial submarine tour, which was a great experience. We decided that we have to return to take advantage of the other excursions. We also loved the location of the resort. It was a few minutes away from the supermarket and from the night life scene that I call, "restaurant row." So many dining options to choose from on this little island. When we return to Aruba, the only place we will stay is at Divi Aruba Phoenix Resort.
Great hotel with wonderful staff
We really enjoyed being at this hotel. It is smaller, therefore less crowded than others. It is also located at the end of the strip of all the high rise hotels, which makes it quieter. The negative aspect is that it is away at night from the area where all the restaurants are so you will need to get a cab (we rented a car). The room was great, on the top floor, with a completely furnished kitchen, and a beautiful view. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Marco, Jimenez and Aura at breakfast. My daughter has some dietary restriction and every day they accommodate us, preparing the food she needed. The breakfast buffet could benefit from more variety and better pastries/bread. We had dinner at the PureOcean restaurant: the food and the ambiance were great (service was a little slow and not as attentive as I expected for the restaurant level). They are planning a big renovation with building 3 additional towers, I am not sure I like the idea of the hotel becoming a bigger and more crowded resort. All the facilities were great, gym was very well equipped, and the palapas and lounge chairs great. Strangely, there was not a service for drinks while being on the beach. I would go back there any day!
AMAZING vacation away from the cold.
The Divi Aruba Phoenix resort is our favourite hotel on the palm beach strip. We have tried others on the island but never got the sense of community and had never been so welcomed and catered to by the hotel staff. The hotel is situated on a gorgeous beach and offers a great breakfast which is one of our family’s favourites! The rooms are well kept and up to date. The location of the resort is also spot on as you can walk to the main strip within minutes to access all of the dining options and restaurants. We also loved the bingo games which were a lot of fun and had some great prizes. Cannot wait to come back!!
What a Great Place
The Divi Phoenix is a great place to vacation. Ramon Statie and his beach and pool staff are fabulous. They assist anyway they can, to make your stay more enjoyable. The resort features very comfortable accomodations.

Ramon and his crew rule the beach. Always there to make sure your vacation is a great one! The beach is immaculate. The pool sparkles. Have a problem? Problem solved! Just call Ramon and he is all over it!
