Wonderful start to finish
The staff at Crystal Cove are exceptional. Many took the time to learn our names and daily took the time to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. The property is beautiful and clean. The food was excellent. We had no idea what to expect and we were blown away. Would go back and recommend this resort.
What an amazing place to spend your holidays, the staff at Crystal Cove are top class and there is nothing that is too much to do for you. For those with children it has a kids clubs where the children are asking to attend not vice vesa which enabled my wife and I to have much more quality time. Will be back in future.
Great Family Holiday Resort
Our first visit here and hopefully not the last. Small enough for the personal touch but big enough to provide all the great water sports inclusive. Great choices of food, can’t fault the service. Love it
A beautiful hotel with brilliant staff!
We've just returned from a fabulous two week family holiday in Barbados, staying at the Crystal Cove Hotel. The hotel is well catered for with good accomodation and facilities ensuring we enjoyed a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The beach is beautiful with a lovely setting including great watersports on offer. The food was superb with a variety of dishes to choose from. What really made it a very special and a memorable stay were the terrific staff who couldn't have been more friendly, courteous and helpful to us. This reflects on everyone working at the hotel who consistently demonstrated the value of customer service and the lovely personal touch that means so much to guests. Our family would like to say a special mention to the following staff who were so kind and friendly during our stay and helped make it such a wonderful time; Crystal, Shereean, Raheem, Joan, Alica, Rhea, John, Stephen, Robert, Sophia (Manager) and in particular Lisa Ward, who organised such a beautiful and magical wedding! Well done Crystal Cove team and thank you!!!
Great Location and Lovely Hotel
We've just completed a stay at the Crystal Cove and had a fantastic time. Our room was perfect - right on the beach and with enough space for my wife and I and our daughter. There was nothing that really let down our stay and I'd recommend the hotel for those looking for a good relaxing break but just a few minor points that mean it didn't get a 5 out of 5 for us. These are minor criticisms just to help the hotel push that extra level to get to 5 in our opinion to help with a constructive review and to help future travellers: - The cave bar could be really good but generally smells. (we could only describe it as a bit like a mix between a hospital and vomit). Can't smell it from the swim up side but can from the main side. It seemed to be keeping people away at night. - The service in the restaurants was a little hit and miss. When it was good it was really good, when it was bad you had trouble getting drinks, didn't get water and didn't get bread etc which happened the rest of the time. We tended to find that when the senior lady was working on greeting at the restaurants it went very well. Rest of the time it was hit and miss. - The pools aren't quite the blue on the photo. Well, not until one of them was cleaned half way through our visit. It magically turned from green to blue which was kind of off-putting for entry into the other green pools! - Turn on the nightlife! When there was good entertainment with singers on a couple of the nights it was great fun. Most of the rest of the time it was deserted, - It was easy to get a lounger on the beach and so no issues from us but please address the crazy people who get to the pool at 7am and grab the beds. The signs say you do - please enforce it! - I know the hotel can't help it but the party boat going by very closely at 6-6:30am two mornings during our two week stay was a little alarming (for those of us that couldn't sleep through it!) Some stand-out positives: - The beach sun loungers were great with comfortable cushions and pull over roofs. Perfect. - 95% of the staff were unbelievably friendly and welcoming. It made a real difference. - The location can't be beaten - we travelled to a couple of the other hotels which you can do as part of the all inclusive package and none of them were as good in our opinion. (but worth a visit) - Watersports are great - book a day in advance. We loved the rings. You can also get snorkels free of charge for 230 minute hire at a time so save that space in your suitcase! - Getting regular drinks, fruits etc brought to us even out on the beach was a real treat. So, all in all I'd highly recommend it for an ideal relaxing visit. I wouldn't recommend it if you want some nightlife however. If you're 20-30ish just be aware you'll find it dead at night. The majority of guests seemed to be of the 6am-9pm variety. We hired a car for the whole time we were there but there is a bus stop straight outside and they are on the ball with taxis.
