Amazing family spot
Just starting off saying this is an amazing family resort. My stay exceeded all expectations we had visioned. This was our 5th time in Cancun, but our 1st time at CPC and with the kids ages 9,6, and 3. If I was just traveling with my wife, I would stay at an adults only resort like we have in the past, but for sure will return here with my family in the future. Had a small issue starting out luckily that got resolved after the 1st night. At check-in we upgraded our room to bunk beds for the kids. This was $60 per night extra. The room was on the outer wing of the resort on the 5th floor and was horrible. View was of a torn down resort next door. Patio door wouldn't lock. WiFi didn't work. Next day we got the room switched and resolved everything. Now the rest of our trip was nothing short of amazing. Beach was great and they cleaned it everyday. My kids loved the swimming in the ocean. Pools were also great. Kids club play area was a huge hit for my kids and we went there everyday also. Played a fun game of putt-putt golf. Night Magic show was great. A lot of fun activities for the kids. We made reservations for the restaurants every evening for dinner. Our favorite place to eat was Fisherman's. We ate there twice and I feel like they had the best steak there and fried squid rings. The Italian was our second favorite. Great Salmon dinner there with a cappuccino. Breakfast was pretty good. We don't eat big usually for breakfast but ate fresh made omelettes with toast and yogurt. Orange juice wasn't the best but my kids didn't complain and I drank coffee mostly. Overall this was a great experience and would recommend this as a top place in Cancun to visit with your family. Bars were nice also. They had a decent liquor selection in all of them. 1800 tequila, Skyy Vodka. The lobby area bar made great Chocolate Martini's.
Family Trip +18 yrs
Hotel is very nice, but getting very outdated and needs cosmetic works in the rooms. The location is beautiful, right on the beach. Felt the adult pool could have been located in a better spot (you can’t see the beach from there and gets very hot during the day). The main pool is too crowded with kids if you don’t have children in your group. Hotel staff was very nice and friendly, but a little lacking in customer service when it comes to delays, etc, they are not too accomdating.
Good for Families
Some travel challenges which the hotel was not very accommodating to travel delays/mishaps. Beautiful property and location. Would say great for families but if you have an over 18 group another property would be better
Good family resort. Just a short trip to get to the heart of Cancun. I would definitely stay at this resort again. The staff was very friendly and there was alot for the kids to do. We are already looking into a trip for 2020.
