Mar 16, 2025Fun stay in Cancun!
Comfy bed and great service with Jesus & Jorge - lots to do without leaving the resort.. great family oriented stay! The Zapato excursion to the Cenotes and zip lines was the highlight of our trip! The food was okay - not a lot of meat choices.. but the kids seemed happy with the pool and activities offered. Recommend for families!

The location of this property is amazing - close to the airport and on a beautiful section of the beach. Note that 2 new properties are under construction on either side of this hotel so that may change in the future. Food was okay but not a lot of variety for lunch options as most of the restaurants only open for dinner. Reservations are required for the restaurants in the evening and are sold out within a few minutes of the time slots opening in the morning which only leaves the buffet available for most people (and food is not great). The ocean view from our room was lovely but the room itself was pretty poor (beds are small double beds (not queen size) and were really stiff, bathroom was poorly lit and dirty, mini fridge did not function properly and you are charged to restock if needed ahead of daily cleaning time). Overall our family made the most of our stay here but I would not go back to this location.

Jesus our bellboys was so nice. He was extremely helpful…everything is so nice..the buffet needs a little more upgrades but overall the hotel is super updated. The staff is willing to help out when needed and your room get clean everyday.. the bar drinks are great

Lyons family vacation 2025
Crown paradise was a excellent experience for our first family vacation and first time in cancun , Jesus bellboy an Leticia went the extra mile on a already fantastic family vacation , the ocean was amazing the buffet always hit the spot , the photo shoot we booked pictures came out amazing , 10/10 trip

For context I traveled with and 11 & 8 year old. I read the reviews before I went and decided to go with it since the overall ⭐️ rating was 4. I have no clue how it has an average of 4 stars. It wasn’t cheap but I would classify it as a discount resort. The food is awful (and I’m not a food snob) with the exception of the steakhouse. We were encouraged to try the Italian restaurant by staff, we get dressed up, show up to the restaurant, sorry “adults only.” Two restaurants require reservations (Mexican and Steakhouse). You have to reserve exactly at 8am or you won’t get a seat. Some people talk about how great the Mexican restaurant is, it’s better than the buffet but mediocre at best. If you want a chair at the beach or pool, be prepared to get up at 5am and put your stuff on a chair. Be careful though, my stuff was stolen (or thrown away🤷🏻♀️) at the beach. And I wasn’t the only one. People will hold chairs for all eight of their kids, even though they don’t use them. The only reason I gave it to stars instead of one is because the staff is very friendly and helpful (with the exception of check-in and checkout). Be careful if you decide to go parasailing through aquaworld at the resort. They will tell you can do it right on their beach, but in reality, it’s a 30 minute walk. Had I known that I would have used a different company. If I would have been traveling without kids, I would have called it a loss and went down the road to a different resort.
