Rip off almost double the room rate when u arrive
We arrived and were immediately greeted with “you need to pay more...not accommodating at all. No hospitality. All staff watch you do everything yourself and get a ‘ mandatory tip’ added to your bill. Save you’re self the hassles and the terrible service and stay somewhere els.
Excellent value and service!
If you are visiting Nassau and want to stay on Paradise Island with all the perks of Atlantis but without the cost, then this is the place for you! Clean property, spacious rooms, and excellent customer service. Take note of the name COMFORT Suites...this is not a high rise glamorous metropolitan hotel or resort. It is just that...amazingly comfortable. Great for families too. Easy 5-10 minute walking distance to Atlantis' beaches and Aquaventure park, nearby restaurants, and the ferry/boat terminal for any day excursions or water taxi to downtown Nassau. Complimentary hot breakfast daily and wristband to access Atlantis is included with the stay. Enjoy the sunshine and bring sunscreen.
Mandatory tips without service
Currently at Comfort Suites, Paradise Island. I am paying $336.50 per night for a room that is worth $129, total. It is mandatory to pay 15% service fee. However, as two examples. First, I have to pay 15% gratuity for porter service. There is no porter service. I carried my bags to my room. Second, I had to pay 15% gratuity for food. It works like this. You call the restaurant and order. They then call you back when food is ready and you have to go to the restaurant to retrieve the food. This is a scam hotel. I would never recommend this hotel. More too come.
Nice hotel for about 500$ less than Altlantis
Hotel is nice and roomy. Much bigger than families room staying in Atlantis. I booked through Expedia and was told I could work out at Atlantis for free, there is a charge. Buffet is decent. Confusing
We arrived at the hotel and was immediately impressed with Christell the Front Desk Trainee.....she was very accommodating which is something that a lot of hotels front office agents lack....check in was a breeze.....when we arrived on our floor the scent was completely different from the lobby....it was very moldy....I went into my assigned room thinking that the scent would’ve been different but the scent was even stronger....I went to one of the Housekeepers that was across from my room to see if she could be of assistance....she really tried to help but the scent was unbearable...I went to the desk and was immediately moved to another room....management really need to walk the interior grounds and smell what’s going on because mold is clearly present....I also needed a room with two beds instead of a king which first given to me and was told that there was an additional fee...I only shook my head because being an employee of the best hotel in Grand Bahama this is something that I’m not accustomed too....there should not be a charge for changing from a king to two beds I mean since there were 3 persons already in my room and later added an additional.....but overall once the mold situation is addressed I would definitely stay here again especially since we did have all access to Atlantis which was the highlight of our trip.....
