Cheapest Way to visit Atlantis
My wife and I spent 4 nights here. I've always wanted to visit Atlantis for the water park but really had a hard time stomaching the cost. I'm pleased to report the Comfort Suites is a very cost effective solution. We literally did not spend 1 dime on the Atlantis property, even though we had the same wrist bands as the regular Atlantis guests and spent all day there. The water park, grounds, and beach are all spectacular, so I highly recommend you go. We ate free big breakfast at Comfort suites and brought some granola bars in our bag for mid-day snacks in the water park, and then would eat dinner at one of the non-Atlantis restaurants on Paradise Island, like Margarativille. We went early November and the weather was perfect but it was not crowded at all so there weren't lines at the water park. As for the comfort suites itself, it's a nice one. Located right next to the front entrance to Atlantis and close to the bridge from nassau. Only a few minutes walk to atlantis front entrance, though atlantis itself is huge so it's a pretty long walk from there to the water park but no worse than atlantis guests staying at the cove/beach hotels. It's really pretty and landscaped so we didn't mind the walk at all. All the shops/restaurants on paradise island were easy walking distance, but you'd have to take ferry or taxi to get to nassau. Checkin/out was fast and smooth. Room was fine. Bathroom above average. Bed super comfortable. Wifi was reliable (and free) but on the slow side. The breakfast area is half open-air/shaded, half indoor next to the pool. We really liked eating breakfast outdoors among the nice breeze, palm trees, etc. Unless you're made of $, you're crazy not to stay here.
Wonderful anniversary trip!
We booked a last minute trip for our 33rd wedding anniversary and cannot believe how wonderful this property is. From check in to check out every staff member was so pleasant, polite, and happy to help us in any way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was very spacious & clean, with all the ammenties you could ask for. We really enjoyed having the small refrig to keep our beverages cold. Our breakfast each morning was great before we headed over to Atlantis, as you know it can be very expensive there. We really enjoyed returning to Comfort Suites at the end of our day to enjoy the quiet pool and happy hour with Jamal the bartender, he really has a great personality and went out of his way to remember our names all week & take care of us. Deserapande(probably wrong spelling) @ the front desk was so kind@ check in & later in the week made sure to check on us to make sure we were having a good anniversary trip. Housekeeping did an outstanding job each day as well. This was our first time in the Bahamas and we were so pleased we can't wait to come back and stay @ Comfort Suites again
This place is perfect for those who want a resort stay without breaking the bank. With access to the Atlantis resort for a full day of fun and excitement comfort suites paradise island is a winner. The rooms are quite comfortable, however just a bit outdated and there were a few broken tiles that ripped my socks. The complimentary breakfast and wifi is a plus. I felt very relaxed here. Check-in could have been better especially after a long day of travelling, but I won't complain. I also called the front desk in need of a microwave which I was happy to find out that they provide. However, I waited for hours and even called back a second time but the microwave never arrived. Giselle was such a sweetheart thanks for your hospitable service. I would definitely stay here again.
We booked our stay at Comfort Suites to celebrate my cousin's birthday and We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff was very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. We went to the nearby market and got some microwaveable items for late nights not realizing that we didn't have one. We left our microwaveable items next to the coffee machine and decided we'd inquire about it after we got back from our excursion the next day. To our surprise, we met a microwave in our room when we came back the next day. Talk about superb service! We also ate at the restaurant on our first and last night (we ate elsewhere throughout the trip) and the food was amazing! I would definitely recommend it to others and I would love to stay there again!
We did not stay the night...
Toilet flooded the room... Drain of bathtub was blocked too... Aircondition too loud and smelled bad. Looked at 3 rooms - all smelled old and bad. We did not stay the night. Management was not co-operative. The hotel is very expensive compared to what they offer.
