    Excellent Service

I visited Coconut Court with my family for cropover, and as always there were pros and cons. Firstly I would like to start with a thank you to Keisha who cleaned my room daily (room 90) and changed her pattern of work to accommodate my 1 year old sons sleeping pattern. Keisha was very friendly, happy and thorough. I recieved great service from Annmarie at breakfast (who even remembered my sons name each morning) and Rosalyn who made great waffles. Annmarie was very bubbly and helpful consistently, which gave me a great dining experience. I do believe the three mentioned deserve some sort of recognition. There were more, however those are the names which I remembered. The Cons: I had a 1 year old baby and was placed on the top floor with no lift which made it a struggle getting up and down the stairs with the stroller/pram. Secondly, the dinners were good, however the breakfasts were very repetitive. Overall the hotel views (try to get a room on the top floor), service and hotel standards were good (minus the two mentioned above) and I do recommend this hotel. Thank you

    Amazing holiday!

Visited for two weeks and had the most amazing holiday with our family. We had a room on the top floor (room 60) a struggle getting luggage up but we were offered help. It had a large double and two singles. Plenty of room for us all. We had a small kitchenette that included a fridge which was useful. The only very slight downside is that the view of the beach wasn't great as we had all the rooftops of the rest of the hotel, we would of preferred one in the more central blocks. We had booked through a travel agent and only given two breakfasts FOC for the two weeks, we were offered to purchase another two as there were four of us but couldn't justify £300 for this, we then found out that if we had booked direct all four of us would of had complimentary breakfasts for the two week stay. The restaurant menu was limited and rotated weekly its a shame they don't have more local dishes on there for you to try. We weren't overly impressed with the entertainment what was advertised wasn't always on, seems we were 'out of season' when we asked. The staff at Coconut Court couldn't of been more helpful and certainly looked after us well, from the chambermaids, restaurant staff (Ronelle), Antonio from Charlies Beach Bar, Ryan and John from the Deck and especially Maurice and Donna from the Management Team. It was also lovely to meet Ted (Ted's Tours) and Mark two of the owners who were so welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend!

    Our wonderful vacation july/aug 2019

What a lovely experience for our first time visit to Barbados. The Coconut is not a Hilton or Marriott but have more to offer with it being a family run establishment. The staff you become friendly with on first name terms. Great and attentive staff Our room was very comfortable overlooking the Caribbean sea. Hotel has its own beach where we spent our days ..perfect eh Food was very good If there was a criticism is drink measures small not talking alcohol but tonics etc But overall loved our time we met folk who return every year, that sums the place.

    Terrific

Just back from beautiful Barbados and loved Coconut Court. We had an upgraded room which had stunning views of the beach. Cleaned every day and we booked direct so had free breakfast which was great. Free sun beds on beach and use of towels. Had a glorious two weeks would definitely recommend. Just two minor points: hotel could look at having a cash machine on premises as that would be useful. Secondly every day there was a queue at breakfast for the eggs to be cooked - maybe could have two people/cookers going to alleviate the queues.

    Weekend getaway

Just returned from a wonderful weekend in beautiful Barbados where we stayed at Coconut Court. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I planned this little getaway to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. I had been to Barbados before and wanted a place that was comfortable and close to the restaurants and shops. After searching and cancelling a few bookings, I finally decided on this hotel. It's located in Hastings which is a wonderful location, a 5 minute drive to the St Lawrence gap, Bridgetown isn't very far away either. It is right on the beach which was lovely! I booked the ocean deluxe room and had a wonderful view of the beach. The room itself was spacious with a tiny kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, toaster... which all came in very handy). The bathroom was clean and a nice size. The hotel actually names each of the rooms after popular Caribbean songs. We stayed in the Jean and Dinah (named after a calypso by the Mighty Sparrow). The front desk staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze. The one downside was that the free wifi came and went but we were still able to enjoy Netflix on the hotel's smart tv. So overall tips. For us Caribbean people, I would say Barbados is a bit pricey. On the night of our arrival we went to Oistin's fish fry. There's always music playing and food available for purchase. Again it's a bit pricey but the food was good and the atmosphere is something to experience. We decided to take the bus or maxi (as we know it in Trinidad). In Barbados it is known as the "ZR". you can get one right opposite the hotel and it takes you directly to Oistin's. The cost is 3.50 bds. Be prepared though.... they drive like crazy people, go at full speed into potholes and squish passengers in like sardines. Just hold on, say a prayer and you'll be fine. The next day, however, we decided we were better off renting a car which turned out to be quite expensive due to Cropover which was that weekend. We ended up paying US$215 for 2 days which was unusual. We had breakfast at the hotel which was nice with a lot of variety. And we went for dinner at Naru (they serve sushi and Asian cuisine) which was not very far away from the hotel. Try the Chefette's...it's everywhere and quite good. We ended off our stay by just chilling at the beach in front of the hotel which was usually calm, clear and beautiful! Thanks to Coconut Court beach hotel for making our stay unforgettable!
