Nice boutique hotel with a dragon lady hostess/supervisor
We were a group of 8, celebrating birthdays, and we were psyched because a friend who is employed there suggested it. We were on an all-inclusive plan. After check-in, we went to the restaurant to order some food. We were told quite rudely by a hostess Patricia " who told you that you could get food???? You're NOT entitled to get food." When we tried to get to the bottom of the issue, she was quite aloof, and we went to the bar to get drinks. I placed an order at a local Chinese restaurant, and we drove to get our food, then returned to the hotel and ate there. We continued having fun and enjoying ourselves, as we were there to celebrate the girls' birthdays. The food was excellent (except for dessert), the other staff we encountered were super friendly and very professional. and courteous. We encountered Patricia, aka dragon a few more times, and she was downright rude at every encounter. She treated us with complete and utter disdain, and if I had to return to this hotel, or recommend it to any of my friends or family, I would not, simply because of her. She was friendly with all other guests besides us, so it was glaringly obvious that she had taken a dislike to us. We had the issue reported to front desk, and the lady at concierge spoke to us. She was friendly and professional, but dragon lady left a terrible taste in our mouth.
Perfection personified !,,
Had a swim up room which was like having your own private pool, as most people used the other side. Breakfast was comprehensive and had most things a uk traveller would want. We were bed and breakfast, but did eat in on three occasions one being a la carte. Every meal was great and there were no complaints at all. The staff are fantastic and all appear willing to go the extra mile to make your holiday even better. Visited local beaches which were fine. Hawkers trying to sell their wares, but move on if you say no thanks. Pigeon point beach comes highly recommended. When we visited this lovely cove, we shared it with 4 other people. Pigeon point is a National Park so after paying the equivalent of £15 for two to get in, and £5 for 2 sun-beds we were set for the day. This payment allows you access to the whole National Park, not just the beach. No hawkers just a very special place.
My mom and I visited St. Lucia from 21-24 June, 2019. After reading quite a number of reviews for varying hotels and speaking with my agent from SAF's travel club, we choose the Coco Palm hotel with its all inclusive package. From a seamless check in with Adamin at the front desk, to the delicious welcome drinks brought to us by Ashton, and their welcoming smiles we knew we made the right choice. The hotel is tastefully decorated with a romantic, warm and friendly overtone. Our room was literally six steps away, from their beautiful pool which had the cutest balcony. The room was clean, cozy and kept spotless everyday, with all the necessary amenities. The weekend's entertainment will have you tapping your feet, shaking a leg or waist, as they have various entertainers who are multi talented and play all types of genres. The food at Ti Bananne (we ate there everyday) is absolutely delicious!!!!! Shout out to the chief and his assistants who were helpful, friendly and warm. The Ti Bananne Caribbean Bistro & Bar staff should be highly commended as they made our stay delightful, especially Princes who brought sunshine on a rainy sunday, with her dance moves, we just loved her bubbly personality. The head waitress on Monday also deserves mentioning, as she went out of her way to ensure we had a meal before catching our flight. We came tired and a bit anxious, but left rejuvenated, happy and a little heavier (lolllll). Coco Palm Hotel EXCEEDED our expectations, and we look forward to returning for a longer stay! If you're looking for a home away from home, with a romantic setting, beautiful people, great entertainment and delicious food!!!!!, Coco Palm Hotel is the place for you. They also arrange all your tours, sightseeing adventures etc. There is a spa on site........ the massage is to die for......ask for Peppy when you check in. On behalf of my Mom and I, a heartfelt thank you Coco Palm!
Great location and wonderful hotel
Staying 2 weeks at Coco Palm in an extremely friendly atmosphere hotel with pleasant helpful staff, comfortable rooms, good food and a relaxing gardened pool area. Location is excellent with access to a beautiful beach in 5 mins and local shops and restaurants close by. As nature lovers we were delighted with help from staff members in organising personally tailored excursions that allowed us to see the St Lucia we wanted to experience.
Great hotel and location
My husband and I stayed here while visiting St Lucia. Great people, great location. We were great full that they give you beach towels you can use off property because we didn’t want to buy any. For our anniversary (which I only mentioned in passing while booking) they surprised us with cake and wine. The bar was convenient. We did the swim up room and because it wasn’t busy it was like having the pool to yourself. Our first day needing a car they called Kervin who we ended up using for the entire trip. He was great and helped us coordinate several activities. I highly recommend skipping a rental car and using Kervin. You can find him on FB under Excellence Taxi & Tours or call him at 1-758-284-0062.
