We had an issue with our first room and the front desk were more than accommodating. They got us moved into a different room straight away and it was a complimentary upgrade. Great service. Quetzabel at La Palapa is lovely, really great, warm and funny - she is a credit to the hotel!

Fantastic birthday, special memories
The hotel and staff were amazing. Situated on a beautiful part of the Riviera Maya. Hotel facilities - pool was great, lots of space and swim up bar a great addition. Sunbeds by the pool can be taken early, even though some don't turn up until later. Staff could be more proactive in managing this as there are notices on all the umbrellas that they shouldn't be reserved. However, there are plenty of beds on the beach. There are two main bars, with a selection of drinks and cocktails, water is available self-service on the bar. Staff are friendly and very efficient. There is one buffet restaurant available for breakfast and lunch and five a la carte restaurants, offering different cuisine for dinner. These need to be booked through the hotel app, which, if there are only two of you, is fine, but if there is a larger group, it can be quite challenging. Trying to organise my birthday dinner for nine was stressful. All food and service were excellent in each restaurant, and there was no concern about that at all. There are five blocks of accommodation in the grounds, situated between the reception and the pool/beach. The walk was down a path in the mangroves, which contained several animals that we enjoyed watching in their natural habitat. These included iguanas, coati's, paca's, and grey squirrels. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay amazing. Several require specific mention, Quetzabel, in the buffet restaurant, her friendly greeting each morning was refreshing, her willingness to go the extra mile and making my birthday breakfast extra special 😀 Marcus, great ambassador, always greeted us with a smile and 'how ya doing', we loved seeing him. Diego, on the Happiness team, always smiling and willing to lose a game of rock, paper scissors. Overall we had an amazing time, is this hotel perfect, no, but it's close. Thank you to all that made celebrating my 50th extra special.

INCREDIBLE HOSPITALITY
Luis, Armando, and Diego at Rauxa went above and beyond for hospitality at this resort. I have never felt so special during a dining experience but they wanted to help celebrate our graduation with us! They decorated the table for us, treated us to amazing drinks, delicious food, and TOP TIER service! Not to mention, the show was incredible!!

The Best Servers on Earth
Armando and Luis are incredible!!!!!!! They are very caring, and fantastic dancers…. we had an amazing time at the restaurant and the resort is great. They are very attentive and great at their jobs. The atmosphere is hard to work in and you can tell they do their best to make customers feel cared for and taken care of!

Outstanding place
Great place, shower water was fresh with no smell. Fod was great and pool was outstanding. Great vacation spot, nice and relaxing 😌 the staff was friendly. Service ws good. Spa was great and a great price. Coffee in the morning was good. Very clean place, turndown service was the best.
