Welcome to Castle Kamaole Sands, one of the most popular condo-rental resorts in Maui. Perfect for couples and families, Castle Kamaole Sands' one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites surpass other Maui condos in more ways than one. For starters, you'll be overlooking Kamaole Beach Park III, one of the best swimming beaches on Maui.
Castle Kamaole Sands is surrounded by lush lawns and tropical gardens, where you can walk among the fish ponds, fountains, and waterfalls while enjoying the gentle sounds of the surf.
Take the kids to the play area or the Castle Kamaole Sands wading pool. Work your muscles on the tennis courts, then loosen them up in the jet spa. Meet up with your neighbors for cocktails and a barbecue. Later, head back to your suite where you'll appreciate all the conveniences of home: a fully equipped kitchen, private lanai, air conditioning, cable TV, WiFi, and plenty of room to spread out. And if there's something you can't find, just ask.
The condos at Castle Kamaole Sands are indeed beautiful and comfortable, but they're also a lot of fun. From the complimentary weekly Mai Tai party by the pool to the wonderful restaurants within walking distance, Castle Kamaole Sands puts the fun in your vacation. There are even golf and health club facilities nearby. Enjoy ocean adventures just steps from your condo. Come eyeball-to-eyeball with friends from the sea while snorkeling or scuba diving. Watch whales dance and play in the waves.
A five-minute drive from your Maui condo will take you to Wailea for a shopping spree, more restaurant options, activities, and special events. Drive a bit farther in the other direction, and you'll come to exciting and colorful Lahaina, an old whaling village that harks back to the 1840s. Today, it's a vibrant oceanfront lined with numerous restaurants, art galleries, boutiques, and shops. Castle Kamaole Sands' prime location makes any excursion a possibility.

Customer Ratings & Reviews

The condo was spacious and clean, we were a family of six plus a toddler and our condo had three bedrooms, one of which had two beds which was perfect for my sister and me. The condo had a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer and comfortable furniture, an added bonus was the air conditioning. The property is huge and it is nicely landscaped. There is only one pool and it is small and you need a pass code to enter the area. The location was great and close to great beaches and grocery stores and other stores and restaurants. The concierge was helpful and made bookings for us for various day excursions with a small discount. One day we made a cardinal sin of hanging our beach towels on the railing of the lanai and received a visit from a person strangely dressed like a forest ranger who told us we could not hang our towels on the lanai railing. There are a large number of employees racing around on golf cart type vehicles. Not sure I would stay here again.
Location, location, location!
We stayed in unit 2-404 (building 2) for almost 2 weeks - very much enjoyed our stay! We’d come to Maui before and had stayed at a place a couple miles north, but that beach was a little too rough & rocky for me. Kamaole Sands is located across the street from Kamaole III (Kam II & I are also close by)...beach was fantastic, plenty of sand and even had SHADE. Condo was tastefully decorated, you have a reserved parking spot, and grounds are kept in super condition. All amenities of home are here: fully stocked kitchen (pots/pans/utensils); washer/dryer; towels; beach gear (contact your condo owner for amenity list since all condos are owned separately). Ours even had detergent, cooking oil and a variety of spices that others had left for future use. I recommend you ask for condo location since some condos have full sun coming through the balcony, which will make your condo hot. There is a concierge available during business hours - take advantage of it because excursion tickets/Maui Ocean Center (aquarium)/etc. can be purchased here with a little bit of a discount. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance of Kamaole Sands. We had a car and would go shopping at Foodland nearby to pick up groceries and cook at the condo, eating on the balcony overlooking the ocean (or we’d take a picnic to the beach). Pool and hot tub are opened until late which is nice. If you enjoy a nice, QUIET stay, this is your place - quiet hours are 10pm-8am and people that stay here are courteous and respectful (or at least during our stay...luckily no wild parties going on). Would definitely stay here again!
Nice - Clean - Convenient
We stayed here for four nights. The condo unit was clean and right across from 3 nice beach parks. The decoration is dull and old fashion but who care I am on vacation. The condo had a small kitchen and a small washer-dryer. No room service every day for the whole stay. So make your bed and taking the trash out yourself. Kihei is conveniently close to every thing.
Spacious condos right across from Kihei beaches
We stayed in Unit #10108 for a short getaway to attend a surprise birthday party in Wailea. There were two couples, and the unit was a one bedroom with a pullout couch, and two full bathrooms which was great so we each had our own bathrooms to use per couple. The kitchen was modern and there were chairs and some beach toys in the outside closet to use if we wanted, as well as extra beach towels. This unit looked out to the fountain and you got a good view of the ocean across the street from the little lanai where we sat most of our first night. There are several grocery stores within a mile of the place so we were able to stock up and cook and bring snacks when we toured the island. Convenient location to main roads as well to travel around the island. Kihei beach was very pretty and we could see turtles swimming in the surf just from the beach. Nice property.
Paradise in Kihei
If you are considering renting a condo in this resort you will be very happy. The grounds are kept up daily, BBQ’s are always clean, pool area clean and secured well. Great for couples or family. Beach right across street, places to eat within walking or driving distance. Love it!!!
