Very comfortable and convenient for diving.
Enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable. We rented a car (rentadora Isis) and used Pelagic Ventures for our dive company. They picked us up at the hotel pier for our dives. Worked out very well. Restaurant was good and convenient for pre-dive breakfast. Would recommend.

I did enjoy my time staying at the Casa del Mar in Cozumel. The room was ok overall and the facilities were very good as well as the on-site restaurants, but the best part was the staff. Very friendly and helpful as much as they could be. Wi-Fi wasn't very good. That was a bit of a letdown. Otherwise, it was really nice. I would stay again if I do end up overnighting in Cozumel.
Exactly what we were looking for
This hotel was perfect for our dive trip. Nothing super fancy but very clean, good food and excellent drinks. Our waiter Jesus Alejandro took great care of us and really made our trip fun. We will be coming back for many more visits.
No ac for first 2 nights!!!
We booked this hotel with high hopes to scuba dive. We stayed 2 out of the 4 nights and left.. why? Well we had an ac problem at midnight.. so no sleep.. talked to them the next day, said they would fix this.. nope !! Second night we we had same problem at midnight , same as night before... so!! What does this mean 2 nights with no sleep? No diving for 2 days because we did not sleep in the heat of the night twice... This really sucked and so we left even though we paid for 4 nights here to try for the first time... Our bed was also so hard you could bounce anything and it would hit the ceiling. I feel that there was no care at rhe time to what was going on.. sleeping with no ac?????? Come in really??? Cannot just move us instead of doing nothing?? Because thats just what you did.. nothing to the AC and left us to deal with it in the middle of the night. SAVE FACE ON THIS AND TRY TO DO ANYTHING TO MAKE IT BETTER? NO, NO,NO..... You just said thanks and let us go on our way.. sad, sad, sad... this us bad for business. We ate there, drank there for the 2 days, so we supported your hotel.. I am right now in a new place on the island stil and paying someone else for a night we paid with for your stay... sorry but i find thus hotel to be a 2 star at best... thats shooting high right now.. will stay and dive else where when i come back.. which I will be comming back ro scuba dive a few times a year... good luck.. my advice? Customer service.... get some... and listen to customers when they are sleeping in a room temperature.. nobody likes that, even natives...
We were staying only for two nights but the hotel was nice, good location, friendly staff speaking good english. The restaurant was serving very tasty mexican food. Is about 10min walk from the port and 15 from the downtown, although I recommend to take a taxi to downtown cause its a long trip to walk
