    Bucket List, Check

A bucket list vacation. My wife and I have always wanted to experience a prestigious resort and we found it in the Bucuti & Tara. So much has already been said leaving me little to add. I will say there were 2 things that helped me better prepare for this trip. The first was the “WHAT WE ARE NOT,” document (Bucuti website). Reading this helped me to understand, and better appreciate, the Bucuti & Tara mission. The second was exploring the Bucuti’s app on my iPhone in the weeks leading up to our trip. The app is well designed and I look forward to seeing it evolve to include even more guest options. The only contribution I can add is concerning the water bottles. I would suggest you bring your own. The bottles we received from the hotel were really just coffee travel mugs. Don’t misunderstand, they are very nice, but aren’t very big (maybe 16 ounces) and after filling with ice there is little room for any water. I mention this because my wife and I enjoyed Aruba’s water, which truly is great, straight from the tap. Fortunately, we brought our own water bottles that were bigger and required fewer trips for filling up. That’s really about the only thing I can think of. We didn’t have the pleasure of meeting the owner but if we had I’d add my vote as being in favor of the new chair reservation system. If I really need a particular chair I could either get up early in the morning or be on my portable device at 5pm. Sleeping in was much more enjoyable.

    Everything here is perfect!

You won't be disappointed; absolutely beautiful beach and property, and the staff couldn't be more caring and willing to go above and beyond to ensure you have a perfect stay! We started each day with a leisurely breakfast at Elements right on the beach .... made-to-order omelettes, Dutch pancakes, waffles -- in addition to an array of delicious food from the buffet. We ordered French press coffee every day and fresh squeezed pineapple juice ...heaven on the beach! This was our third visit to B&T. Before we left, we booked next year's trip. I read the other reviews and responses about groups. We booked the same time as our very good friends ,,, they have been guests at B&T for the last 7 years. This year another couple --good friends again-- joined us for a portion of our stay. The 6 of us (3 couples) arrived at different times at breakfast and did sit together part of the time. No one made us feel uncomfortable. We had plenty of couple-time and enjoyed each other's company at the Sand Bar and breakfast. I certainly felt like we understood the adults only/couples/romantic/peaceful priority of the resort and we all enjoyed every moment of our stay.

    Great Location and Awesome hotel

We recently stated here and enjoyed the Penthouse suite. The hotel is very cognizant of the environment in many ways - you can even exercise and generate electricity. The beds are very comfortable (soft) and the bathroom amenities (Aruba Aloe) offer you extra comfort if you "happen" to enjoy the sun too much. The beach is wonderful with sandy entry to the water. The sunsets are amazing! You can choose to dine at the hotel or enjoy some of the other amazing restaurants within walking distance (2-5 max). We would recommend trying the SPA services as well.
