Aside from the uncontrollable seaweed that plagued the beach everything was wonderful. Great effort was made to mitigate the seaweed conditions. Our party of 5 ( 3 generations) had a great time. We loved the resort .

Jul 14, 2025Not a REAL difference between VIP
The VIP experience here is not real. There is 2 tiny pools that are for VIP that are always empty because there’s no ambiance there. All of the amenities are at the public pools, that’s fine however, if someone is a “VIP” they should be told about the special amenities available at these public pools so as a VIP you could decided ahead of time if you would like those special accommodations e.g the couches by the pool which are externally desirable. The VIP benefits, coupons were good, but be sure to fully understand how to get them because they don’t just give them to you you have to ask. Upgrading rooms for free if available is a lie, they told me to my face they didn’t have master suits in the XHALE side then proceeded to check in a couple next to me into a master suits. I had booked the room right below the master suit level in hopes to be upgraded - they wouldn’t do it saying that an extra charge - I showed them where my package said VIP can upgrade for free if available so they stuck to their story there was none available then when I showed them that I could book a master suit right now by going online for these exact dates she said she would talk to her manager came back and still said no.

Catch flights not feelings
Even solo, this resort was a perfect getaway. Highly recommend! Plenty of activities and entertainment during the day and evenings.

Breathless left me speechless!
The property was amazing. The landscaping was pristine and every area was incredibly clean. Each dining experience was great, but my favorites were Coquette (French cuisine) and Silk City(Hibachi). For an all-inclusive resort, the food was excellent! What I liked most about the resort were the vibes. The bartenders, servers and entertainers have so much personality and really enhanced the vacation experience. I was there celebrating my mom’s 60th birthday and everyone went above and beyond to make sure that she felt special for her big day. I would like to mention a few staff members that were so awesome: Our concierge, Alexis, was absolutely amazing. He really made my group feel like VIPs and checked in with us each day to make sure that all of our needs were met. He was our point of contact for everything and he did a wonderful job. We were so thankful to have Alexis. Our favorite bartenders (or “Star”-tenders), located in the Lobby bar were Giovanni, Victor and Luis, they were so much fun. Angel at the pool made sure that we were waited on hand and foot in our VIP cabana. And last, but not least, Chris Brown and Seranita had great moves dancing with my aunt. All in all, Breathless left us speechless! It was really a great resort…10 out of 10 for me! Thank you.

Entertaining resort with endless activities
We had an absolutely amazing week at Breathless!! This was our first time visiting Punta Cana and we definitely come back. Our concierge Emilo went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had what we needed. We enjoyed getting to know him over the week! Jennifer was our favorite pool server. That girl works hard all day to make sure everyone is happy! Chris Brown on the entertainment team kept us laughing all week! We upgraded to xhale and would absolutely recommend that to just about everyone. The upgraded liquor made it worth every penny. Every morning we stopped by the Xhale lounge for top shelf drinks and shots of espresso. The drinks at the lounge are 1000% better than at the pool or other bars. We liked our swim out room but not sure we would book it again as we didn’t use it much. We loved all the activities and entertainment. Honestly all the shows were very good and the live music poolside had us dancing in the pool! Food was mostly impressive, better than I anticipated. I would recommend this resort for anyone looking for a lively resort, with endless things to do. There is definitely a party vibe but it’s not chaotic. It was perfect for us! We really enjoyed having access to Dreams Onyx and went over for a few meals and hit up the water slides a few times. There is not much else outside of the resort in this area so excursions are somewhat limited. We took a taxi to Macao beach and had a great day! We will most definitely return to this resort! We had an amazing time!!
