Terrible Experience! Do Not Book Here!
This place was disgusting! The only good thing I can say about this place is that I only had to stay one night! Unfortunately our flight was cancelled and for 650.00 I rather have slept in the airport paid the airport 650.00 to sleep there instead of here. It’s dirty! The first room we went to had pubic hair on the toilet and hair all over the floor. The front desk ended up telling us the room was not cleaned and we were in the wrong room didn’t know people made the beds so properly in hotels..that was a lie! The second room was just as bad with hair on the coffee table also the bathroom sinks get flooded every time you use them. The sheets have stains on them. It’s honestly disgusting! I wish I would have read reviews before I picked this place! No towels at the pool! Aggressively loud music at both pools. You can’t hold a conversation unless you are shouting. You couldn’t read a book if your life depended on it. Let’s get to the beach which is not even a beach it’s a pond of dirty water where boats dock and people stand in the water for no reason at all there are no waves because the drop of water that is out there is basically a child’s pool for you to stand in up to your ankles. It’s open to the public so if you want a private beach this isn’t it. The food is terrible. Stay away from the chicken. Actually just don’t eat spare yourself. The music blares aggressively loud at night because this resort is for 16-18 year olds on spring break not for adults. I would have grabbed my bags and left but the hotel would not release my money. The manager wouldn’t release my money I honestly should have just left and let them keep it. I promise you I just came from secrets maroma and I can’t imagine why people book here. Expedia should remove it no one should have to stay here. This place is terrible. I wish I could give it a negative rating but TripAdvisor didn’t give me the option. Save yourself stay home or pick another resort and I hate even calling it that.

I am currently here and the buffet is shut down and the restaurants are empty but an hour and a half wait for dinner.
I am here now and the buffet is shut down and an 1:30 wait for restaurant and there are empty tables at each open restaurant. Also 1:30 for room service. I really had high hopes for a Hyatt but I have had better experiences at Riu’s. This has been very disappointing for Cancun.

Not all inclusive resort. Lies!!!!
Worst resort I've been too. Give me someone else room. Give me the luggage. Had to wait 1 n half hour for the restaurant. If you want reservations to the silk restaurant u had to be there at 3pm to book. If it's book u got to other restaurants. If u want the silk restaurants u had to pay 65 a person..so sad. It's not an all inclusive resort. If want champagne you had to pay u had to pay for it and alcohol. They charge u 700 if u want to seat at an certain spot at the beach. They only give shot only at bar. There so many people not enough bartender. At the fish net they seatedour group by the air conditioning vent n it was so cold. I requested to 3 people to move n they refuse to move us. They kept saying it like that through the whole restaurants. I had to put my coat on eat my food. It was only our spot. So disappointed. Bad customer service at that restaurants

Girls Trip February 2025
We just got home today from our stay at Breathless Cancun Soul resort. We did a lot of research and felt happy with the reviews and amenities offered, so we decided to give it a try. Overall, our experience was okay. We were still able to get away to Mexico on a much needed girls trip so that has to count for something! Pros: -Our room was amazing. We booked through Apple Vacations and our package included an upgrade to the Xhale club, so we were in one of those junior suites. It was very spacious, was always kept clean, and made our stay very comfortable. Beware that the shower is completely open to the vanity area (this wasn’t a big deal, but we definitely got a laugh out of it at first) -Most of our food was good. We ate at the Mexican, Italian, Steakhouse, and buffet. The breakfast buffet had a ton of options, the lunch was a little more limited but still good. We were disappointed that the night we chose to go to the steakhouse was instead a BBQ buffet, but the food was still okay, we just would have liked a heads up on the menu change. The staff also had a great spread for Super Bowl out by the pool! -All of the staff we encountered were all working so hard and were overall very friendly. The Entertainment staff really try hard to make fun for all of the guests. -We tried both the rooftop pool and the Energy pool and both were great! The rooftop is more of a party/day club vibe, but if you’re wanting something more relaxing, the Energy pool is great. Cons: -We didn’t really feel that the Xhale club was worth the money. Maybe that’s because we didn’t really need a more private experience to have fun, but if that’s what you’re looking for you would probably enjoy it! -Having to wait an hour every night was a bummer. We came to expect it, but I think this is the first resort I’ve been too that didn’t do reservations. -We had an incident at the rooftop pool where a couple towels got dirty and were charged $100 for a “deep cleaning fee’” I understand they have to charge people for damaging stuff but I can almost guarantee they washed the towels and they were fine. We were just a little surprised. They also called us over 24 hours later to make sure no one in our room needed “medical attention” but it seemed they were only worried in making sure we came down to the concierge to sign a paper saying we agreed to the charges. -The beach itself was pretty with soft sand and really clear water. But it is right next to a public beach access, so basically the whole beach is taken over by locals and A LOT of kids. It’s kind of surprising that the resort wouldn’t be a little more diligent about keeping their beach private to guests (especially when it’s adults only so it would be easy to see who is not a guest). The locals have every right to use the public beach access, so I don’t really blame them for wanting to spread out a bit onto the resort beach. -Probably my biggest complaint from the whole weekend was how Super Bowl was handled. All weekend, they advertised a big party that they were having for the “Big Game” and everyone was excited. Come Sunday, half of the main Energy pool was blocked off and reserved for people willing to pay hundreds to thousands of dollars to sit in that section with a screen for the game. We were a few of the lucky ones that got seats on the unreserved side of the pool, but all day we watched people get told they could t sit in open chairs on the other side. All of the Super Bowl entertainment that they advertised was on that side as well. We were all unsure if we were even allowed to swim on that side because they were being so strict, but I think it got to the point that they were content with how many seats/couches they had sold that they weren’t really enforcing people being in the pool. Then come game time, and they had 2 additional screens set up that we thought were for everyone, but come to find out, one also had reserved seats that you had to pay for and the other was a pop-up outdoor restaurant that was just for eating dinner, not for sitting. We were so frustrated and just desperate to watch the game somewhere that we ended up paying $200 for a small table right by the pool just so we would have somewhere to sit. There were people sitting EVERYWHERE around the resort just to catch a glimpse of one of the screens. It’s crazy to me that at an All-Inclusive resort, they were expecting people to pay additional fees just to sit in public areas to watch a game. I can only imagine how much money they made from people desperate like us to watch somewhere. Overall, the resort was pretty, the staff were all good, and the food was overall really good. Like I said, our room was one of the best we’ve stayed in. Unfortunately, we will likely not be returning due to a bunch of little things that all added up. If you’re looking for a more hotel vibe rather than a resort, this may be what you’re looking for. When we go to an All-Inclusive, we try not to spend much extra money but unfortunately there were quite a few charges that we couldn’t avoid.

Great adult resort
Stayed at this resort for a family wedding. They did great with such a large group. Lots of places to relax and or soak up the sun. Very clean and well maintained property. Great vibe, entertainment and great staff. Will definitely come back again.
