  Perfect experience, food was delicious and the building is top quality. I also liked how close the property is too ocean.

  Group trip to celebrate a number of 50th birthdays!

  It was a great location, with a beautiful beach. Food was fantastic, although since we were a group of 10, there were a few dinners that we did have troubles with service. I think it was a case of being short staffed. Many people I've seen talk about the Sea Lions barking all day was too loud, but we actually enjoyed it. If you keep your balcony doors closed, you really didn't hear anything from them. Would have liked to see more entertainment, as the rooftop nightclub is no longer in operation. And hydrotherapy at the spa is very limited compared to other Breathless and Secrets resorts that we've been to. Jessi from the Entertainment staff really stood out to us, as she made sure to check in on our group everyday to make sure we were having a good time, and knew all about the day's activities. Andres, the resort concierge was amazing. I was able to contact the resort prior to our arrival, and he helped me coordinate dinner reservations each night for our large group, as well as booking us all for massages at the spa. He was already providing exceptional service for about 2 weeks even before we arrived at the resort. He continued to provide great service for us the entire time we were staying at the resort as well.

  Fantastic experience. First class throughout - from amenities to service to restaurants. Ivan, Ventura and Ernesto from Bites are all wonderful, friendly and took care of all our needs. Wonderful Hyatt facility. I will highly recommend.

  Breathless: How the Staff Helped Salvage My Vacation

  Without a doubt the best resort/hotel experience of my life, everything was perfect, the staff were friendly and over my six days the rapport I feel was built made leaving more than a little bit emotional. Cleanliness was high and the cleaning staff for my room saw I was using the balcony blanket for my bed and then started incorporating it into making the bed, a small touch of personalized care I’ve never had in my travels. The only downside to the room was the poor quality of the tv but that was minor and in a place like Breathless, ain’t nobody wasting time watching tv. Where the people at the resort really came in was when my travelling companion was sick/uninterested in our plans during the day, they made a point of drawing my attention to the daily activities and this more than anything helped save the days of my trip, especially the tours and the modified activities for the rainy day. Jose, Edri, Nelly and Jessi went the extra mile and for that I’m grateful. The tour to Cabo San Jose and the coffee I had with them was a quiet highlight in a mostly debauched and high-energy trip. So they have my thanks for helping a stupid tourist out when I needed it. All the staff were also very nice even if I’d “indulged” too much and was hungover or drunk, or said something really stupid. The Spa was reasonably priced and more than that had a great selection of treatments, I had a deep tissue massage and the Sun exposure cold treatment and both were great for resolving their related issues. The resort layout itself is a bit labyrinthine initially so I would recommend taking every tour, available to learn the ins and outs, lest certain experiences be missed. The Purple rooftop nightclub was closed during my time there so I cannot speak to it’s quality but the lobby bar and poolside bar were phenomenal. Pedro at the poolside bar in particular was friendly, remembered my name, my drink and was the best of a great bartending staff. The shows provided by the resort were also great, the equal of anything from Vegas, fire dancers, the burlesque show, all fun. Would recommend with the knowledge going in that most of the guests there seem to be couples in the older range, not that it’s a problem as the social aspect was great, stay there long enough and the resort funnels you into having a good time, no matter who it’s with.

  You be the judge

  We stayed at Breathless in Cabo in Nov 2025. Normally we go to the Secrets resorts and regretted not continuing that. The pros: Beaches were very clean The specialty restaurants had delicious food. The staff was all amazing and friendly. 24/7 cafe was awesome very good coffee and milkshakes No smoking in the property The people selling you stuff on the beach were not as aggressive compared to the Dominican Republic. I’m not sure if we just went at a good time but it didn’t feel too busy, we did not have to fight for a spot on the beach or at the pool which was super nice. It felt very safe, we were able to walk around the marina during the day and at night which we really enjoyed. There were lots of sea lions and I loved watching them during the day. You could hear them at night too which was pretty cool. Our rooms balcony overlooked the marina and that was really cool. I loved that view The cons: The pools were freezing When your sitting on the beach almost every day you are staring at two massive cruise ships (which I get isn’t breathless fault but it was very annoying) The beach is the first one off the sidewalk of the marina so many people come and sit on the beach that are not from resort. The rooms are average, the bed was awful. The TV wasn’t really working the colors were all jacked up. The buildings where most restaurants and beach are is separate by an alley and it’s kind of a long walk between your room and that. There is another restaurant right next door that is not associated with hotel. Whe. You are at one of the specialty restaurants like Spumante, or fishnets. The restaurant Nextdoor has this obnoxiously loud music with heavy bass. They have flashing lights and that really ruined the experience for us. Personally we would not be interested in coming back. The marina can be really loud. Lots of party boats coming in and out with loud music at all hours of the day.
