Great locations, beautiful views, comfortable and quiet rooms. Lack of service (very little staff), poor food quality. Not a 5 star property or experience by any stretch. The mgmt should be required to stay one night in a room to understand the shortcomings (no towel racks in bathroom, for example, fickle temperature control, no refilling of mini-bar during a 5 night stay).

1. Xhale Club is worth it, buy it before you get there. You get better liquor options and access to the Xhale Lounge. Each day they have different bites and snacks. During our time there we have seafood wraps, fresh made sushi, sliders, and different small deserts. Xhale lounge is quieter, cleaner, and just overall enhances the stay. PEDRO was our Xhale Lounge bartender most days. He was kind, patient, and just overall a fun guy. ////// That said, if you choose Xhale before you check in (another plug to just get it), you will check in in the lounge. JORGE was very helpful. Here comes the kicker - there are folks incentivized to get you to book the breakfast to hear about the vacation club; you WILL encounter them after you check in. If you feel sitting through a 2 hour back and forth is worth hundreds of dollars of spa certificates (or a cabana), knock yourself out. We regret spending that much time on our first morning there. Lastly, it's NOT a timeshare, it's the Hyatt Vacation Club and you will have to make a decision right there on the spot if you want to sign up. They will give the hard sell and attempt to overcome every objection although the mango margs they will throw at you are delicious. 2. Rooms are great. Get one overlooking the marina. Yes the sea lions are loud but if you're worried about noise you shouldn't be booking this resort anyway. It's on the Marina next to the town so you will hear the bars, the nightlife, etc. Is it crazy loud? No, but your mileage may very. I found the marina room to be ABSOLUTELY worth it. 3. The food is going to be hit and miss, it's a mid-tier all inclusive. One thing they hit on all cylinders - BREAKFAST. Every breakfast dish we had was great. Shout out to JAVIER at Bites, he was our server at "the big table" (you'll understand when you get there) and handled our party so well. Fun guy and he works his tail off. As I said before, if you get Xhale you get their snacks (awesome) and the Italian restaurant was solid. The pool restaurant was fine - they will serve you at your lounge chair - but the rest were a miss. Ocato didn't work for our group - it's too much food and we just didn't care for it. Tomahawk steaks are gimmicky. The pear salad is a miss. The seafood bowl/tower thing is a miss. TIP: Ask for the vegetarian menu. It's separate and the selections a few had in the group were much better. They do have a wine list you can buy from - it's solid with bottles from 40-120 USD. MUCH better than the house wine that's included in your stay but again, your mileage may vary. 4. Bell staff, lobby staff, bartenders all great. They helped us with offsite transportation to MANTA (WORTH IT!!!!) for dinner. 5. There is a photographer there who offers a semi-professional shoot. The shoot is free since obviously they make money in selling you the pics. They know the best places around the resort. With four couples we did the shoot and thought the pics were very good! We bought the package since dividing it up by couples only came to 200/couple. VERY PLEASED with the pics. Bottom line - it's 4/5 due to the vacation club silliness and the fact many areas of the resort need a fresh coat of paint and the MEH of the non-breakfast food. Would we stay there again? Yes.

The service was amazing, food very very good! Restaurant Spoon has great service, very friendly and attentive! Food at all times during the day is delicious and high quality. Manager Ysmay is the best! Rooms are nice, love the marina view. Lots to do. The Spa in one of the best I’ve been to!

Great Location but Be Warned About Noise and Food! Breathless Cabo San Lucas has a fantastic location and beautiful views, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is close to town and the beach, which is a definite plus. However, there are some significant drawbacks to consider before booking. One major issue was the noise level, especially at the main pool. The music was excessively loud, often a 11 out of 10, which drove many guests away to seek a quieter environment. Also, our room did not have a bathtub. The breakfast buffet was disappointing due to its limited selection; they didn’t even have hot sauce available. We had dinner at one of the hotel restaurants one night, and it was so bad that we ended up eating out in town every other night. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we discovered some fantastic restaurants in Cabo San Lucas! In summary, if you prioritize location above all else and don’t mind excessive noise, Breathless might be a good choice. However, if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with good food and quiet surroundings, I’d suggest considering other options

Best vacation I’ve ever had!
Had a beautiful time with my family. We all celebrated our birthday and we loved every minute. From the moment we checked in to check out time, everyone was very nice and welcoming. They had a big party for the Super Bowl with snacks and bbq and we all had a great time. I can’t wait to go back!
