WONDERFUL ALL AROUND!
I treated my mother to a vacation together for Mother's Day this year, and we couldn't have been happier with the choice of hotel/resort. The last time she'd been to St. Thomas was in the 1970s, when she was pregnant with me, and I hadn't ever been, except in utero! We chose Bolongo Bay because of the all-inclusive option, and we were swayed entirely by online reviews. The property, still recovering from Hurricane Irma, is nonetheless beautiful, and we were offered many activities on site, as well as in other locations, some free and some with extra charges (all worth every penny!). The most memorable activities were sunning ourselves on and exploring the local beach, snorkeling with sea turtles and sunset cruise, both on the catamaran with Captain Z, Toni, and Alyssa (all of whom were so fun and wonderful), and a tour of St. John with Charles (excellent!). As other people have mentioned, the menu is limited, but everything we had was delicious and fresh, and all the restaurant staff were so welcoming and helpful, particularly 007 and Lorrie. Our room was plain but comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the water. The beach around the resort is a bit rocky and seaweed-covered, but the staff clean/rake it routinely and provide land and water hammocks and beach chairs to make it extra comfortable. Manager Keith and Event Coordinator Vernita were especially helpful and awesome. All in all, we had a blast and would do it again in a heartbeat.
AMAZING VIEW and Conveient location
My husband and I stayed at Bolongo Bay, Labor Day weekend. The unit we stayed in was in the most perfect location, spacious and had a balcony on both floors, which I throughly enjoyed. When I spend time indoors, I prefer to be outdoors on the balcony facing the ocean. The unit was litterally steps away from the ocean. We slept with the doors ajar, and you could hear the waves as if they were in next room. There is a beach bar restruant on the property in which we met a few locals on site. The bartenders were awesome. The beach bar also had a live band playing...added perk. I can't wait to go back. I love STT.

It was our first trip to St. Thomas and the staff at Bolongo were so kind and hospitable. The food was excellent at Iggies Oasis. We highly recommend the Prime Rib on Sunday night. We hope to come back and visit next year!❤🙂
