We LOVED Bolongo
Honestly, the perfect family owned resort. It felt great to not give our money to a large corporation! The rooms were clean, food was tasty, and the drinks can’t be beat. We were well taken care of by everyone from housekeeping to the servers & bar tenders. However, special shout to Rocky for making the drinks strong and Lynn and Maggie for getting our food orders right every time! We are excited to come back on our next USVI trip and experience all the great renovations that are being done. Mike, thank you for sharing Bolongo with the TikTok world. Without this, we would have never found this absolute gem of an all inclusive! One tip for fellow travelers, though, book those dinner reservations well before your arrival!

Family operated resort with Love.
This is a family run resort. They showed unparalleled genuine love and concern for my mother (94) and I (70). They catered to our needs and addressed any concerns we had. We were all inclusive and the food and service were outstanding. I have never experienced a vacation like this and I have traveled much. The bell boy, Jamieson was like family to us by the time we left our 7 day vaca. God bless these folks for love. It was a one of a kind vacation and perhaps our last together. We are not promised tomorrow so a big shout out and a huge thank you to you all. Blessings be upon you.

The Sun, the Pool and the People.
Unique in St. Thomas, Bolongo Bay is all inclusive. This makes it very easy to have meals and overall the food is good. Some of it was very good, but all the fries and some of the entrees were cold. It took forever to get served. David, the food and beverage manager, really tried to keep everyone happy. I appreciated that. We had the best room in the place, an accessible room, beachfront, nice. Big shower with grab bars. Nice. Everyone I spoke to did not like their room. We got lucky. It was a last minute booking because someone cancelled. The overall feel of the place is that it was assembled piece by piece: The rooms, the bar, a connecting space, a patio. The walkway along the beach is iffy. There is plenty of seating, all outdoors and live music every night. Some of it is good and some well........ needed more rehearsals. I did love the people, Missouri, Oklahoma, Montana! Idaho. Iowa! I did not love the beach enough to go into the water: Too many rocks, and I could not see to the bottom to see if there were more rocks. I brought water shoes, but they went home unused. The pool is clean and very few people are in it! There are pool floats for your use. Week by week the clientele is different, but our week was mostly couples from honeymooners to seniors. People were friendly and everyone spoke English. We did not leave the resort. I was there to rest and be served and in that case, they did a good job. In spite of all the drawbacks, we enjoyed our time there, it was a good trip. I loved the sun and the pool and the people.

Fantastic stay
Great all the way around. Staff and location are amazing. Quiet resort with quick access to the busier, noisier parts of the island. Iggys is a great place and staff are fun. Recommend booking things early to get the full use of the excursions.

Amazing family owned all inclusive resort!
My husband and I came here to celebrate our 25th anniversary, which was a couple months prior and also to celebrate my 50th birthday, which occurred while we were there! We had never been to St. Thomas before, but while researching different resorts on the island, I kept coming back to this resort as being the perfect spot for us. The rooms are pretty basic, but the bed was comfortable and they were clean. We were on the second floor and enjoyed having a balcony looking out over the beach and water and enjoyed the fact that we didn’t have to travel anywhere to get to the beach. Part of the beach is a little rocky towards the left, but the right side of the beach was very sandy with lots of beach, chairs and umbrellas. There is snorkel gear to use and I also took out one of their SUP paddleboards around the bay one morning, which was great. They have a sailboat at the resort that goes out on Sunset cruises and a snorkel turtle cruise. The resort has daily activities in the morning and afternoon and also live music every evening from 6 to 9 PM. My favorite activity was the snorkel booze hunt, and I came out a winner with a bottle of rum! We saw a couple of large iguanas on the resort property, and they also have some friendly feral cats that they feed! The Iggie’s Oasis restaurant has a great menu for breakfast lunch and dinner, and they also have nightly dinner specials. It was great doing the all inclusive package as we thought that saved us a lot of money versus paying for our drinks and meals daily. There are a lot of frozen and on the rocks options on their drink menu, and they also have a fun non-alcoholic mocktails drink menu for kids or anyone who doesn’t want the alcohol. All of the staff from the owners, waitresses, bartenders, and front desk staff were more than helpful throughout our weeklong stay there. We were actually a day late, arriving due to airline delays and missing our connecting flight, and they refunded us the cost of our first night there which I didn’t even expect them to do. We loved the laid-back family-friendly vibe at this resort and I would highly recommend it and can’t wait to return someday!
