11/6/25 Barceló honest review
I’m 32 years old , came to have a relaxing 4 day trip to Aruba this was my honest review . The hotel was pretty, but slightly outdated. The two buffets had amazing food for breakfast lunch and dinner. However the restaurants (we tried Japanese, Italian, and seafood) the food was not good at all and the food was also cold. Otherwise I have no other complaints. The staff, the drinks, the beach, the pool were all amazing l.

Aruba 1st time visit to this island
Property is not a 5 Star its a 3+ at best. Food is average and same most days, the a la carte options is OK not 5 STAR though quality, food was barely warm unless you went to Japanese when they cooked it in front of you. Buffet options OK options you wont starve but average. Drinks basic not top shelf and served in paper cups on the beach looks like a coffee cup so bring your own. its outdated, stale and not open and island feel vibe when you arrive. Needs some refreshing for sure. Staff however are excellent and so friendly, accommodating and lovely people no matter their role. All super nice. its in a great location, on beach, across the road from all the shops and restaurants, easy walk, and beach side walkway same, in centre of it all - location beach and all inclusive option is enticing but there are so many food options and places you will want to see eat at so if you want to venture - we did, you still can .. great food in all other restaurants and even beachfront spots. If you don't expect 5 STAR quality and are open minded its not that bad, you will eat, drink and enjoy with the option to also go out, hit the town, try some other food and cocktails if that's what you prefer...there is some value to that as it is an expensive island.
