Family of 6. Very disappointing with resort.The standards of this resort has dropped in the last few years. We stayed a few years ago, for a family wedding and the quality of this hotel was not 2 bad 2 why we decided to come back. But this time around Our Room was very outdated and in a very poor state Leaking showers(used towels around shower to stop the hotel room flooding) Unclean non white bedding No bin liners Unclean bath ect. Hotel entrainment day and night for both adult and children was very boring and disappointing We spent most of our time in r rooms. Buffee food was ok. Some days were good food and some days was really bad left over hard food. We tried 2 book for other restaurant in resort but unfortunately their was no availability during our stay. I was also told that the hotel is closing next year for refurbishment I guess that makes sense to why everything was so poor including management. I would not stay at this hotel until they decided to refurbishment Or u will be so disappointed. I am sure it will open back for the better once refurbishment has taken place. Regardless of the poor quality of hotel I always ensure i tip staff during meal times and bar service. It's a shame 2 see that a lot of people do not tip staff at all Staff rely on tips cos they are payed so little for all the hard work they do.

Gorgeous hotel on arrival great staff we had a great time from all entertainment staff crazy legs, Kateland thunder,Jerome. Kevin and so many more you are all amazing at what you do !! 5 ⭐ also shout out to bar staff in the lobby who make the best drinks ever and Akeem in Jazmin thank you Shout out to Christina in spa who gave me reggae massage which was amazing !! And Takieya Jones who provided the us with the best beach romantic meal it was amazing and to the staff that night out chef amazing and server thank you this was our first time in Jamaica so thank you to all the great staff !! The team that sorted out our trips Annoy !! towel guys thank you Definitely recommend their trips out driver was amazing

Very large resort when you combine the Grand side. It's a bit outdated. We had electrical problems in our room. The elevators were iffy. Sometimes they worked. Sometimes you had to find another elevator. The a la carte restaurants aren't always open. That means you can't get reservations. The pools were clean. Usually there was a lounge available. The Grand side beach is better than the Luxury side beach. The only bar that seemed to be open in the evening was the Lobby bar so it got very busy. Entertainment was not very good. Any shows started later in the evening, around 9 or later. All in all, not the greatest of vacations.

The visit to the resort with Cycle Jamaica was awesome 👌🏿. We got to ride our bikes and visit many attractions and local areas. The hotel has a lot of daily activities and restaurants throughout the day. The restaurant and bar service was exceptional for an all inclusive hotel. They even had staff come by the rooms to check if anyone needed anything extra (a first for me). They need to improve their checkout service though since they had me bring back a pool towel to the front desk because they did not have someone at the towel return kiosk for me to turn it in and get my towel card (very petty service for clients who pay thousands to visit). In addition, they did not have someone to assist with luggage and would still not let me get the luggage trolley to get my luggage even though the trolleys were there. They also overcharged me on the massage ($125) during checkout even though they advertise it for $109. Overall, it was a good stay until checkout time.

Don’t believe the negative reviews! BPL is amazing.
Just returning from our trip and I am so glad I didn’t pay mind to the bad reviews. This was our first trip to Jamaica but have otherwise travelled throughout the Caribbean. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The food was excellent - always something to try. Even the buffet had diverse options. The strongest feature of the resort is their excellent customer service and attitude. We had no negative interactions and everyone was willing to help. They all want you to have a great time because for the most part - they are having a great time. A lot of the complaints that we read about this resort don’t recognize the challenges an island like Jamaica has experienced. Hurricanes and Covid have created lasting Human Resources and supply challenges. Holding that against any resort or the island in general is missing the best parts of Jamaica and its people. If you want to have a fun, relaxing positive vacation, Bahia Prinicpe is solid choice! The resort is beautiful and so are the staff. Hope you had a great time like we did!
