Garbage Absolute Waste Of Money
Absolutely horrendous experience before even getting inside. 1.5 hour wait to check in despite being a member and then their card machine doesn’t work, 2 hours later at the resort still waiting to check in. Going to cancel the transaction with my bank and find a different resort for this week. Absolutely garbage experience advising everyone who asks never to come here.

Definitely the best holiday so far!!
The hotel is amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the buffet resteraunt was vast and varied. I challenge anyone to say they couldn't find anything they liked. Yes the reviews about bacon running out are true, however, that is not the hotels fault and was more to do with greedy holiday makers piling their plates high with 4-5 plus rashers instead of the 2 they would have at home. As soon as it came out they would dive in and clear the tray. We felt they were been very inconsiderate. We stayed round the quieter pool. Always plenty of beds. Rooms Always clean and grounds are kept very tidy. The wildlife is amazing. Iguanas and other little animals wander freely. Your not allowed to feed them but I did see people do it. Whilst we were there we attended the foam party in tge quiet pool. It worked out around £15 a ticket but you got a BBQ free wine, champagne and cocktails. There was a DJ and the atmosphere was brilliant. There are also little trolly buses that take you between the hotel and it's sister hotels nearby. Please bake use of them they are great. Especially if you want to go to the little market. We couldn't fault this hotel at all. Would definitely come back but would need to save up for it. We are working on it 😉

2.5! Choose another hotel
2.5 rating. The check-in line is long, complete the pre-check in and this will make the process quicker since you can take the shorter line. The resort if massive, 1 mile loop! Our 1st room of two 31812 had ants. We moved day two to the second floor, no more ants! The rooms have two outlets! Which was sufficient but surprising. Nothing by the bed to charge a cell phone. The room did have a coffee pot! I could find that information anywhere! But yes in room coffee pot. The buffet is tolerable, I wouldn't say that the dinner buffet is good. We ate it once, the rest of the time we ate at some a la carte places or went out to eat off the resort. Try the hibachi and French restaurants. I thought that they were good. The beach, the coba guests are crowded like cattle into a small area only allowed to use the blue chairs. Meanwhile the other Bahía hotel has open chairs and lots of space. You are not allowed to use this area unless you pay for the upgraded wristband. $18pp/ per day. We chose to not use the beach at all, instead we went 3 miles down the road and hung out at Akumal beach for two days. We had rented a car for the week, so we could explore the area! I'm happy we did. The gym is sufficient, has the basics get there before 8 am unless you want to fight with the am crowd. The pool had plenty of chairs always available and was clean and enjoyable. The bars were good! The entertainment was good. We enjoyed the shows. The live music in the evening in the plaza was fun as well. The staff were nice and helpful, I cannot complain about them at all. I would not choose to stay at Coba again. Maybe I would try an upgraded version at Akumal but Probably not. We made the best of the week and enjoyed ourselves despite the obstacles

Travellers be Cautioned
Not the All-Inclusive Experience I Expected If you’re expecting a traditional all-inclusive resort experience, this may not be the place for you. All dining reservations must be made through an app, which I wasn’t informed about until after arriving. By then, most restaurant slots were already booked—many guests seem to reserve well in advance, leaving very limited availability for others. See pictures of a so called fully booked restaurant. This created a lot of unnecessary stress, especially with young kids. I managed to get just one reservation, and even then, the app indicated the restaurant was full—yet it appeared half-empty in person. Meanwhile, others seem to book and not show up, leaving guests like myself scrambling to find options. Buffet dining every day is not what I came for. I was hoping for variety, relaxation, and good service, but the dining situation made the experience more frustrating than enjoyable. I’ve stayed at other resorts in Mexico and never faced this kind of inconvenience. Travelers should be aware that if you don’t secure reservations early—possibly even before your trip—you may find yourself disappointed. Lastly- you’re only allowed to book three restaurants per stay. You aren’t allowed to try all of them nor have a choice.

Family fun in the sun.
Fabulous family time! Everything from the staff, food & accommodations exceeded our expectations. Huge shout out to Ami, Yuli, Valeria, Cynthia & Karla who provided a fabulous experience for our 7 year old grandson. We look forward to returning next year.
