Great hotel and staff very accommodating friendly and service to any needs. Stayed by pool and enjoyed the food and drinks and restaurants. Had a couple of spa treatments beautiful place. Enjoyed many great shows and other entertainment all week long.

Bahia Principe Grand Aquamarine
Room was awesome and maid always cleaned perfectly. Always had a full fridge too! Met lots of amazing staff who always made sure you enjoyed your stay. Definitely recommend a piña colada and chocolate monkey from the pool bar! Entertainment was amazing and I was shocked at some of the things they were able to pull off. Definitely recommend the fire and circus shows! I will definitely be going again!!

Family Trip 2025
Nice and clean resort, friendly staff, and great food at the buffet! We had no issues while we were there and everyone was very accommodating. The beach was beautiful, but very busy. Spent most of our time at the pools. Nightly entertainment was fun and the selection of off-resort excursions were great. We chose the full day catamaran trip and the dune buggy trip, both of which were great!

First time in DR
I traveled for my birthday and I must say from check-in to check-out the customer service was exceptional, Miguel was amazing. The room was clean and concierge was quick to assist if any issue arose. The buffet staff was attentive, the tall chef that prepared my omlette every morning did a great job. Edwin who greeted us was amazing. The a la carte restaurants were so good, especially MEAT, Maiko and El Olvio. Again Edwin and Eduardo were there to offer amazing service at El Olvio. I wasn't to fond of the Greek restaurant. Overall the stay was GREAT.

It's an OK resort; I had a nice, fairly stress-free vacation, but this hotel is not a 5-star resort. The hotel employees were, generally speaking, polite, nice and friendly. The beach and swimming pool were nice. Plenty of lounge chairs were available, so we did not have to wake up at 6 a.m. to reserve them. The music wasn't loud unless we got too close to the speakers. The food and drinks were pretty good, but the house wines were terrible, white and red. We ate breakfast and lunch in the buffet and dinner at a specialty restaurant daily. Our favourite was the gourmet restaurant at the Amber. We saw some teenagers eating dinner with their parents in restaurants in the adult-only parts of the resort. While they were not causing any issues, I thought I was paying a premium to be away from those 18 and under. While the coffee at the buffet was surprisingly good, the fully automated espresso machines in the lobby produced a variety of specialty coffee, and they were excellent. The room is dated but was cleaned well daily. Bottled water, beer, and soda were in the fridge daily. They provided a large bottle of water for the in-room coffee machine, although we never made coffee because the lobby coffee was so good. There were not enough electric outlets to charge our devices and no electric (or USB) outlets at the night tables. We unplugged the coffee machine to charge our phones and airpods. You may want to bring a plug converter as some plugs were European while others were in North American. Our room never had hot water in the morning (if we woke up later than 9 am) or after dinner, so we took showers in the early evening between 3 and 7. However, when there was hot water, it was scorching hot and did not have enough water pressure. The room's AC was weak, but with the ceiling fan, it was bearable. The toilet got plugged in quite often, and we were not supposed to flush the toilet paper down. Next time we go to Punta Cana, we'll pay a bit more to stay in the resort that is truly adult-only and a little newer, so we won't have the issues mentioned above!
