This place was great. Staff was very friendly. Was close to everything. This resort was perfect for our group of nine that needed three types of rooms. We had a 3 bedroom for 4 of us with a queen and 2 singles. Our friends had a 1 bedroom with a trundle under the couch. My in laws has a small room with a king. We will definitely will come back and stay here.
Best Hotel in Aruba
We absolutely love the family like feel of this hotel. Employees acknowledge you as if they have known you forever and take the best care of you! We came for our honeymoon in 2015 and returned in 2018...Peter, the bartender, remembered us from 3 years prior! The food at Passions on the Beach for dinner on the beach is beyond amazing. You could cut my filet mignon with a fork! The staff in the front office was welcoming as we checked in and out. The beach staff was attentive and professional. We chatted with them every day!
Quiet and relaxation
We wanted to get away to relax and this property was a perfect choice. It is small, quiet, never crowded, and staff is very friendly and helpful. Walking around the property, with its stone pavers, flowers and plants, felt like we were walking around a small town in Europe. Pool is nice albeit on the small side. Beach is gorgeous, which is where we spent most of our time!
True Aruba Paradise
We just returned from one week of turquoise water and white sand just outside of our beautiful room. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the hotel was immaculate and the room included a kitchenette that we used to cook several meals and saved hundreds of dollars. The beach in front of the hotel is amazing and the hotel offers free access to the Palapa's, palm umbrellas, which offer shade for a couple or family with beach chairs, towels and ocean floaters, all included. Our first thought concerned a lack of gym, but with the ocean, swimming and all of the excursions, we got plenty of exercise and didn't miss it at all. We highly recommend Amsterdam Manor, it's far enough away from the crowded tourist area, but close enough with a short cab ride. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
Lovely hotel but shame about the bars!
Hotel is lovely. The restaurants are excellent with fabulous staff that care about your dining experience. The beach bar is excellent and they make class mojitos! Horizons - give it a miss. Closes when he feels like -probably because we didn't tip - and reopens if he wants to!! We can see you from our room!! Music from out of the Ark (and I am no spring chicken!!) The beach is the main attraction - absolutely beautiful but unfortunately slightly overrun with jet skis these days. My second visit - and I love it - but not as much as in 2010. I understand progress and commercially viable - but I don't have to like it!
