Customer Ratings & Reviews

This is a good hotel in a great location, close to the shopping complexes and other restaurants We stayed in one of the ocean front rooms with beautiful views of the ocean and the sunsets. The room was quite large and well serviced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely pool surrounded by plenty of sun lounges. It is also directly on the beach. It also has 2 restaurants and a bar. The pool bar becomes a busy place when it's happy hour.
Super friendly resort
This resort in Oahu island of Hawaii is unbelievably friendly, right next to the beach. The rooms are super clean, the pool is super crowded, but don’t forget to have Mai Tai served in a scooped out pineapple by the poolside bar! Simply amazing. The Bell desk is very helpful and you get discounts on activities if you participate in the resort promotions. Don’t miss it! The resort is right next to awesome eatries, especially a small deli that serves fresh homemade ice creams. Starbucks is next door. You get free “trolley “ rides to move around the city. Super friendly staff made my family stay a fun filled and relaxing vacation
We have stayed at several resorts in Honolulu but keep returning to the Outrigger reef From arrival till departure the service of staff is impeccable and the accommodations are outstanding We were greeted by Dennis at check-in and immediately felt right at home We are here on our anniversary and we could not have been happier with our choice, Tranquility in Paradise
Excellent choice for families
Stayed in a family suite for 4 nights. The staff here are awesome! Really feels very welcoming and full of the Aloha spirit. The suite was a great size - 2nd floor was not great though because of the view. Room could use some updating but was very clean and was not worn. Somehow we got the Club level and had breakfast every morning which was awesome. The pool does not have a view and can be shady because of the buildings but it was a really good size. We loved the location - close to everything but on the quieter end of the beach. Beach in front isn't so great but we just walked down maybe 5 minutes to the busier section. Would totally stay here again.
Checked in late, close to midnight but still everyone was friendly! Bell hop grabbed our bags from us and said when we check in at reception to let them know our bags also need to be delivered up to rooms. Reception had welcome drinks and cool towelettes for us. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and read on the hotel website that they also renew wedding vows (Hawaiian style) for those who want to do so on Tuesdays and Fridays. We signed up quickly for that and it was free to do so. Since we were here before for our honeymoon, everything came back to memory. Service was great, food on property was good. People working were friendly with a smile and willing to help in anyway. There is a $35 charge per night for WiFi, bottle water, newspapers etc, I wish that got implemented into the charge for the hotel instead of a separate charge at the end. If you feel it is too pricey then it isn’t the hotel for you. We knew booking this hotel that it was there. Rental of cars - quick and easy as there is an Enterprise in the main floor so that was very convenient. There is $40 charge for valet. The great thing is the location, it was 10 mins from everything in Waikiki that we needed to do or see (mostly food lol). You needed to get to the shopping centre, zoo, aquarium or diamond head, there was a trolley that would take us around as part of the package so very convenient. The beach - it is still like before rocky but we even went to the North Shore and some beaches there were rocky as well. We can’t blame the hotel for that, if you want, invest in some water shoes and it is no longer a problem. The only thing that sucked was you had to rent beach chairs and there was no sign saying this, just a man who comes and says to you, you have to rent it for $xx for a few hours. Maybe the $35 resort fee should include that, first come first serve. All in all no complaints here, the hotel got a 4 stars out of 5 because of all the additional costs but when vacationing in Hawaii what else can you do, just enjoy the beauty of everything and of course all the things the hotel has to offer.
