Very unique hotel with great views
The logistics of this hotel are interesting, but the kids loved it. The lobby is the hub and all the rooms are scattered around in clusters. You have to take a large golf cart every single time you want to go from your room to the pool, beach or restaurant. They’re quick to pick you up though. The room we had in the Estrellas had beautiful views, but made me nervous when we found a large spider, gecko, green lizard in the room and scorpion molt on the balcony. All very natural, but easily can be solved by putting better door seals. Other than that, the service was great, the food was good and the beach was amazing! We’ll be back to Huatulco!
Beautiful place, sketchy policies
Good: Beautiful private beaches, nature all around, amazing views, close to downtown. Bad: all inclusive with many reatrictions, food and drink prices extremely high, lots of stairs and walking (there are carts but not to every place and not always available) extra towel was removed after 1st day. We wanted to buy the all inclusive plan for only one day, it wasn't allowed eventhough they do sell day passes for people that don't stay at the hotel.
All you can eat buffet
The all you can eat Buffett was horrible and expensive. The food was tasteless. We tried all of the dishes in hope of something good and it was all overpriced for the quality of the food. The only thing decent was the deserts.
Amazing Stay and Great Locals
Had an amazing time at the resort, staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t speak a lot of Spanish but staff where very accommodating. I would highly recommend this resort cause it’s near the beach and they have many activity for all ages.
I suggest a regular coffee maker for the rooms. Never got to use ours properly!!! The staff was amazing!! Very attentive. Did ask for new towels for our room which came a day late. Never was able to change shower head back to overhead fixture. Called but it was never looked at. We loved our stay despite these minor problems!!
