Great location, great value, great staff
We spent 4 nights here and had a wonderful experience. This is not the newest property in town and doesn’t have the huge water park pool area that some others do but it is very clean, has everything we need, and the best location. Our room was only about 100 yards from the beach and we sat on our patio and listened to the waves. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There are hawaiian cultural activities offered for children and adults throughout the day and numerous activities available through the concierrage desk. We also attended the luau, The Legends of Kaanapali, which was very good. We had attended a different luau on the island the last trip and decided to try the one at our hotel this time. At half the price and equally good food, we were happy we made this decision. The show was great and focused on Hawaii rather than all of the pacific islands. The dancing, music, traditions, songs, and legends of the Hawaiian Islands were wonderfully presented. This is offered on Monday evenings only and it is good to get a reservation before you actually arrive as they were sold out the evening we were there, and I expect, most evenings. We will definitely return to this hotel on subsequent trips to Maui.

The Spirit of Aloha and Ohana
Best Hotel to stay in Maui. The Spirit of Aloha and Ohana in this Hotel is amazing. Location, Service, Food and the Beach.... dreams come true. We stayed in the Molokai Wing and we loved it. The rooms are big enough, clean and the service excellent. Top Hotel !
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Hawaiian culture permeates the entire facility! Rooms were very well kept and comfortable. It was unusually hot so the air conditioning in the rooms was very appreciated. It would have been even better if the dining room had been air conditioned. The location could not be better - great beach and good snorkeling at nearby Black Rock. The nearby Whaler's Village shopping mall is also a real plus.
We booked this on a Costco package and it was great value for the money. Staff was friendly and courteous, hotel was clean and efficiently run. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Nice compact resort with good beach. Has an Hawaiian atmosphere as opposed to a big glitzy hotel.
