    Great vacation

    What a great resort!!!. The food was amazing in every restaurant. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Ivan who was our butler during our stay was incredible and the resort is beautiful. I can’t wait to go back!!

    George and Jacqueline at Esmeralda pool!!

    It is a very nice hotel, good services and all. Vacation was very nice with swim up pool. The best was the pool bar service with George and Jacqueline they were always smiling and offering a very good services everyday!!! Thank you to both of you for your kindly service. The beach is very nice. Just a little negative tough which is not as much of a problem its the reservation service at their restaurant. They say its full, but restaurant is empty!! and nightly entertainment not much happening.

    Fun times, great service!

    This was our third trip and love it every time. The kids have fun and everything is so convenient! We love renting a cabana and sharing time amongst the pools. We loved early breakfast at Naos buffet with Ernesto. His service is superb and he would go above and beyond to get the kids’ things and my husband his favorite dark coffee. We requested his section each day! Dinner reservations were the only annoying part because you can only make 2 in advance and the others we were given at the restaurant were very late and wouldn’t work with kids bedtimes. Still, we were able to work it out and the hostesses all tried to accommodate. We will be back!

    A week at the Paradisus la Esmeralda

    This vacation was set up through Costco Travel. We were assigned a "butler" when we arrived. More like a personal concierge. In our case, this was Debir. He made reservations for us for dinner at 6 different restaurants and we found the food to be surprisingly good. For breakfasts, we usually ate at Olio. Very nice way to start the day. Nice Mexican menu entrees and a well stocked buffet table. We communicated with Debir mainly through Whatsapp. He ensured our small fridge was filled with what we preferred and basically took very good care of us. The rooms (2 couples) were identical and more than adequate. Extremely comfortable and even included a Jacuzzi tub on our patio. The resort was divided into 2 wings, one for families and one for adults only. We stayed in the family wing since it was somewhat less expensive. No regrets there; it was quiet and the kids were well behaved. All in all, we felt we received an excellent value and plan to return.

    Another amazing holiday.

    What can I say that will do this hotel justice? This is, by far, my favourite hotel to stay in in Mexico. If you stay here you will not regret it. Ignore any bad review on here, some people will always find something to complain about. We stayed in February, My wife and me, and two daughters, 10 and 12. This is our second time at the resort, the other time was 6 years ago. We have talked about this resort for the last 6 years as being AMAZING, and although we love to stay in different cities and places we wanted to return one more time to paradise. First off, if you can afford it, do either Royal Service or Family Concierge (FC). I can't comment on the experience without it as we did FC both times. With FC you will get a concierge who will help you get set up in the resort, fix any issues you might have, and organize anything for you that you need. It really makes for a zero stress, easy to relax holiday. If you are really lucky you will even get Jonathan for your concierge who is absolutely amazing. We requested him and were lucky enough to get him this trip and he truly was wonderful to deal with. He is so amazing that I even gave him our home address and told him that if he was ever wanting to come and visit that we would be happy to have him stay with us. That is the kind of person Jonathan is! I am not going to talk about all the amazing things that Jonathan did for us because I know that many people do and I think it is probably hard on him to have that expectation from all his guests. Let me just say that he is fantastic and leave it there. The thing that this resort has, that really makes it stand out above all others, is the level of service that you will get from all the staff. Everyone has a "can do" attitude and they want to help and make your holiday as good as it can be. I don't think I heard a "no" at any point during my holiday. Other stand out staff at the resort for me were: Alvierto at Mole, he did a great job in helping us figure out what to order and just providing excellent service. Andrea and Imelda at the Sunrise grill. OMG, every time I managed to get hungry or want a drink they were there, asking what I would like. They remembered my name from day one and knew how I liked my drinks and food. They did the same for my wife and kids too. Really fantastic. Miguel from Olio and the FC pool. Again, right from the first day he knew my name and for the rest of the holiday said hello to me using my name. When you think about how many people come through those resorts this level of service is amazing. Ricardo and Jonas from the FC pool. These two guys do a fantastic job. Thank you to both of you. I was truly amazed by Jonas as he knew my name and I don't think I had even introduced myself to him. My daughter and I went to the beach one day to pick up some plastic off the beach, to try to do our part for the environment (don't think for a second that the beach is not immaculate in front of the resort, but the resort can only look after so much beach and therefore to the left of the resort property had a little plastic washed on shore)....anyway, my daughter and I went to pick up some plastic and then went back to the pool. Jonas thanked me for doing it.....I didn't even know he knew I was doing it! THAT IS THE KIND OF SERVICE THIS RESORT HAS! TRULY AMAZING! Finally, Estephania from the concierge team. She was always greeting us with a huge smile everyday. Knew our names and checked in with us, always saying that if we needed anything to just let her know. I think her job is to try to enroll people into the various time share, memberships deals. I only had to tell her once that we weren't interested and she dropped it, but still made sure she said hello all the time, asked us how our holiday was, and if we needed anything. Wonderful. I could go on and on about how great our trip was. Like I said, we went 6 years ago and had a great time, there was even a little anxiety about whether or not it would be as good......I would have to say this time was better. Honestly, I couldn't give a better review. See you next time Paradisus......I just hope it is sooner than 6 years.....but the world is big and there is so much to see. Demetrio from the FC pool.
