We had a nice, relaxing stay. June is "off season" which meant a quieter resort for us. Kids enjoyed the children's pool as well as the kids club. Kenny was wonderful with the kids and kept them occupied throughout the day with various activities. Cornelio at the Front desk was always helpful and courteous. The room was spacious and clean with a great view of the pool and private beach. Bar staff and pool staff always made sure we had something to drink. We mainly ate at the buffet with our all-inclusive plan. The food was ok. A little bland for my taste. The salad bar often had flies around. I'm sure this is due to their climate but precautions should be made to keep food fresh. However, room service food had a better taste. Resort is away from the city which can be a pro and a con, depending on your itinerary. The hotel does offer a daily shuttle to the mall into the city. We did this one day and took an Uber around the city for sightseeing. Overall, a relaxing and fantastic stay.
Good location to certain sights.....
The hotel is lovely and the staff is exceptional. (with exception at the Pacifica restaurant). 1. The food was only ...ok. For $35 for buffets I would have liked the food to be more fresh. Many things were soggy or empty pans with very little food left. 2. The restaurant staff at Pacifica should really ask the customers if they want water or coffee etc.... Three times we dined there and not once did anyone ask us if we'd like a drink. They never cleared the table. 2 times we had to go to the hostess just to get our bill. She was very nice and apologetic about it, but the service was non-existent nonetheless. Very surprising. Each time we got up and found a pitcher of water and served ourselves. 3. The Spa: beautiful. My friend had an amazing massage. My service, which was a 25 minute facial. Not so much. The receptionist was the one who gave me the facial, and it was immediately clear she was not trained. I get facials in many parts of the world, so i know what to expect. She spent most of the time adjusting the towel around my head. She did not facial massage, just basically kept putting cream on and then wiping it off. A total waste of $45. Extremely disappointed I def would not recommend the spa. When we first went in to book the services, she spent alot of time trying to find people to come in and do the services. I feel she could not get a facialist so did it herself. I do not believe she is certified. Which I imagine in Panama it is illegal as it is in USA. Overall the beach, the 6 pools, the people, the rooms, the staff were all Spectacular!! Most everything else was very good. Concierge was excellent setting up our excursions, the pool staff was all very good.
Amazing and Friendly Staff!!
Everybody that works at this hotel is amazing!! They will bend over backwards to help you out! I don't speak much Spanish and I've had some trouble since I've been here, with trying to communicate with people around town. Ricardo at the front desk and Ricardo at the bar are two of the nicest people I've encountered here. They both have gone out of their way multiple times to help me with anything that I need!. I highly recommend going to the bar and when Ricardo asks what you want to drink just reply, "surprise me!" He has not disappointed yet! The people are what makes this place great! Not to mention the pool area is top notch! It can be a little tough to travel to the city, as it is a little secluded here. However, everyyhing else about this hotel makes up for that.
Amazing and above expectations!
Beautiful hotel, large comfortable room with amazing view even from the bathroom. Excellent food and great choice of wines, huge private beach and 4 large pools.. service is fantastic, it’s low season and as a couple we love it! Close to all Panama sightseeings.. it’s much better than we expected!! Longer flight from Canada than other popular destinations but so much worth it!!

Great hotel on the water. Surprised that the tide (Pacific) was so pronounced. Nice beach however, good for swimming (except when tide was out) or just walking. Nice room, great open lobby, nice pools, good food.
