    I love Grand Palladium Vallarta

We just love this place staff is amazing, friendly, happy and always willing to help you. The Nest has a good breakfast and we love the Asian restaurant. The water is beautiful and we love staying in the family selection side. It is a bit quieter.

    Relaxing 10 days!

We were here Jun19-29. We have been to other other Palladiums 17 times. A little disappointed that they do not acknowledge our past loyalty at all. We e-mailed our request and it was granted King bed 3rd floor. Room 1305. The room was very clean and plenty of towels , face cloths etc. good air conditioning actually on the cool side (we used a blanket) lots of light in the bathroom. We only ate breakfast at the buffet it was very typical and very good. We found all the restaurants to be very good . In 10 days we never had a bad meal. We used the app to book all our meals for the specialty restaurants. Would book as soon as I got up for the next day. We were only allowed to do 1 day at a time. The sports bar had very good bar type food but they did not open till 430PM. The beach and pool had a place to get hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries etc . It was perfect for a quick lunch. some days it was grilled outside between the beach and pool. The pools are very small compared to other resorts we have stayed in. They were very crowded including the adult pool. It was not a problem for us as we stayed on the beach every day. The beach is rocky in places and you definitely need water shoes. The waves are strong when you first get in so I had a difficult time getting in and out.(senior). It was great fun to watch the suffers every day. The staff here are fantastic and so many have been there for years. Shout out to Antonio and Manuel at the beach bar, Carlos at the pool bar and Ricardo at the Italian.

    Fuming in Arkansas

My daughter and granddaughter arrived today. This was billed as a 5-star resort and it is definitely not anywhere close to that. The food is disgusting, and they are starving, you must have reservations to get into restaurants, (weren't told this in advance) so they tried the regular dining, horrible, tried room service, cheeseburger, inedible. My poor babies are going to bed hungry after a day of travel and excitement on their trip together to what was supposed to be paradise. Not a happy momma right now.

    Girl's trip

No elevators food ice cold catered more to Hispanic Latino population although they knew Americans were there. Bus loads of locals came in for the weekend. Would never recommend this to anyone! 2 stars is all it's worth..overpriced for sure!

Very good hotel for the price

I saw a lot of mixed reviews on this hotel, so here is my opinion. It is not a 5 star hotel, BUT you are not paying for a 5 star hotel. It is a very good 4 star in my opinion. We thought the food was extremely good. We were able to get reservations to all the dining options with no problem. You can make reservations starting the day before you dine. I would go on the app around 7:00am the day before and successfully made reservations every day. The buffet style restaurant for breakfast and lunch had very good variety, and good quality. All the bars made good drinks, although they did seem to pour lighter earlier in the day, which was fine with us. They would pour heavier if you wanted, but we did want to make it through the day, so lighter was fine. The Lobby bar made some very good drinks, and stronger in the evening. Expresso martinis and whiskey manhattens made a nice nightcap! The hotel itself is very nice, but again, not five star. Yes, there is a bit of walking, but we did not mind. There could be some updates on the facade and in the yards, but it was OK. So overall I say it is a good deal for the money. The service was excellent and the people were very friendly.
