    Serious decline!

Only stayed at the HH village the last 30 years. Stayed at alii tower ocent front, and wow, what a decline. Furniture no better than Motel 6, shower impossible to control, and just a total mess. This place is in need of a serious renovation. We will not return until they do.

    Dated but I like this..m

This is a classic Hawaii old school resort. A little dated but I liked this as it is a quintessential American resort, almost timeless. Right on the beach and spectacular fireworks on Fridays. Downsides are - main pool is crowded with often no availability for seats. Resort restaurants appear understaffed and so often lines or waits.

    Overpriced but fun

This place has it all in terms of facilities on site however is insanely overpriced. Some staff were amazing however some staff were downright rude and if they're not getting money for it they are not interested in helping. We had to pay $75 to check in at 2pm instead of 4pm which apparently isn't a thing at other resorts. The room was run down, cramped and didn't even have a kettle as well as smelling terrible after rain with all of the carpet smelling like mould. Also very limited gluten free food options and a bit too far to always walk to other places in Waikiki Beach, it's really not that hard to have more options. Good pools and other facilities on site.

No beachfront King or Queen mobility accessible rooms on the property.

My husband is disabled and we wanted an ocean front room for a little get away. This property does not offer mobility accessible ocean front rooms with a queen or a king bed. I verified this with Hilton. As a couple you will have to share a double bed or sleep in separate beds (very romantic get away- not) If you are tall you are out of luck unless you like the floor. You may be able to get one of their few distant ocean views. Be ready for a hike to the beach. If you are couple with a need for mobility access Hilton has relegated us to 2nd class guests. I suggest looking at Marriott hotels as they offer several options.

    Crowded and dated room.

If you love hoards of people, lines and overpriced food and shopping, this is the place for you. Waikiki beach is man made and not very nice for starters. The main pool here is very crowded and the adult pool is shaded the majority of the day. Our room in the Kailia Tower was very shabby. Stained carpets, beat up furniture and lumpy beds. AC wasnt working and when maintenance opened up unit, the filter was clogged with 1" of lint. Gross. This is not what you would normally expect from a Hilton property. I was staying with someone for free, but would have been extremely disappointed if I were paying these prices for this place.I will add that the staff is very nice.
