General Manager lack of response to a injury.

The restaurants are mediocre and that’s being kind. The Asian restaurant left bone in what was suppose to be boneless chicken and I cracked a molar on it. Sad news the management staff was not responsive. Instead I was left with-if you eat hard food your teeth will break-message from the General Manager of this hotel. Poor customer service followed with lack of responsibility. Now I have a new implant.

    Good overall

Pros: Kind & attentive staff Food was good (when cooked properly) Modern/Clean rooms with nice views Spa is very modern & beautiful Drink service by the pool was great Cons: More of a hotel feel/layout rather than a resort Beach area/water is underwhelming Beach Volleyball too remote to be seen/used Restaurant service can be very slow (~2 hrs per meal) Inadequate number of drawers in Rooms - this was very frustrating

Clean and beautiful. Food subpar. Cater married couples

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. I was a preferred guest with my daughters. I noticed because I was not traveling with my husband I was not treated the same. It became evident they catered to couples that they could push the membership (timeshares) on. Need both adult family members to make an huge purchase as a timeshare. Upon checkin I was not given my coupon booklet for discount services and excursions. I only found out about the booklet when I went to inquire about excursions.and they asked me if I had the coupon booklet . Their lost, I booked my excursion outside the hotel and decided against the spa. In addition, had to call and find my luggage as it was not delivered to my room. Food. Quality was subpar. The best restaurant was on the roof floor 16.beautiful scenery. The Italian restaurant left a lot to be desired. The noodles had not been stirred and were stuck together and undercooked. I ordered. Chicken Parmesan and the chicken was chicken nuggets with noodles. Fail!! We also visited the Mexican restaurant. Service was extremely slow. Waited about 30 minutes to place our order…. Once we finally got the food the food was cold/warm. Entertainment. The young lady playing the violin was awesome. Water aerobics was fun For the money and quality of food (all inclusive). I would not visit again. we stayed for 5 day /4 nights

    Great stay.

Visited Dreams Vista last month. Around 35 minutes from Cancun international airport. Immediately whisked of to the preferred club check in. No time wasting. Jesus is a great bartender and always remembered my order. Arriving at our suite was quick and simple we had a few little surprises in the suite which was a lovely touch. All 232 rooms have an ocean view. Which is always good to know. Breakfast was good. I would go to Coco cafe before breakfast as the tea and coffee tasted fresher and stayed hotter for longer. I am a simple breakfast kind of woman so eggs with salmon on toast with salad is my go to each morning. Ishmael had my eggs ready for me each morning exactly how I like them. Thanks Ishmael!! Serving staff are very friendly and patient and helped me with my Spanish as I always try to communicate in the local language. Each morning after breakfast we would go to the beach for a walk. Each morning the seaweed was being removed. The seaweed is here to stay so we just have to get over it. At the Plaza sushi, hamburgers and hot dogs were okay not great, the freshly made tacos were yummy. Lunch in the world cafe again provided a good choice. Desserts were nice especially the chocolate and the apple tart, the ice cream was lovely too. We had dinner in the Prime Vista restaurant multiple times Majo, Daniel, Patrick, Juan the Sommelier and Luis all great team members that made our dinners pleasant. We had a lovely anniversary dinner. It was not anything extravagant but you could see that they tried. All three soups on the menu are lovely. The beef short rib was amazing. The shrimp tacos were gorgeous and fresh. We had a private dinner in the wine cellar of the Italian restaurant (Portofino). We also had a private dinner in the preferred adults only pool area. We was able to create our own menu. The chef even created a few dishes we did not request. The pool servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Jorge, Andrea and Kendor thank you for your service. Pedro was a friendly face around the pool too. The resort itself was lovely. You don’t have to walk far for anything which is great. My two year old was a bit frightened of the kids splash pool area so we didn’t spend much time there at all, we spent most of our time in the main pool or at the beach. Also she was going sleep around 8:30pm each night so we missed most of the evening entertainment. The entertainment team are amazing and they all do such a great job keeping kids and guests engaged and creating activities to encourage guests to communicate. Nala and Irene you’re both amazing. The whole team did great. We went on a trip to Isla Mujeres, we did not do any shopping we just drive around the island on golf carts, stopping off at some spots and enjoying the island. We did stop off at a Bob Marley bar and restaurant which was nice. I would do that again. To be honest I have been to Mexico at least 12 times since 2015 and I have to say I have never experienced any negatives regarding staff, if anything it’s some guests that make the issues. They are always very happy to assist you. Not just because it’s a job but because they are genuinely lovely people. I would definitely return.

    Eh.

Everything in the hotel was clearly made on a budget. Starting with the room; the outlet near my bed didn't work, the reading light by the bed would flash every 10 seconds when turned off, so that was fun to sleep with. The shower does not drain on its own, there are smears of something on the walls where the wall paper was hastily and sloppily installed, the bathroom is unfinished, the hooks for the towels do not hold the towels. The overall hotel: Cancun is hot. Duh. This place has functioning AC in a small number of spots, most likely because of the poor design of the buildings. IDK i'm no scientist. All of the restaurants were hot, which meant anything warm was out of the question. The drinks - which seemed like they were poured out of a hot can into a glass of ice - melted very quickly because of this and were watered down. Considering the amount paid you'd think this place would have better design and quality. Maybe thats just me. The pool was nice, though it sucked that after 12pm there was no more sun on the lower deck pool. The cafe with the ice cream and the game room wer out favorite spots because they were air conditioned and had kind and prompt servers. I definitely will not be back. Oh also, something about the building or location amplified the wind. Doing your hair for an evening was a bad idea because it would be ruined within minutes of going outside.
