Had a wonderful stay at this hotel- it is a very large property but by no means does that hinder the impeccable service provided. Roquilo down by the pool bar is honestly the BEST waiter ever and so fun and friendly. All staff amazing and food/ entertainment fantastic too.

Decent resort - not five star quality

We are on day three of our stay here, and although we are having a nice trip, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and I wouldn’t claim that it is of five star quality either. The grounds and buildings are beautiful, but the level of service is less than what you would expect for the cost of staying. In four trips to the buffet, not once were we given a high chair after asking. It’s become easier to just grab one ourself. Same with getting yourself water. After waiting more than twenty minutes this morning I simply grabbed a bottle for our table so that we wouldn’t have to wait any longer. This wasn’t the first time either, but not once did someone make eye contact with us or come to our table and ask if we needed anything or wanted something to drink. And the buffet wasn’t busy either. This isn’t going to ruin our vacation by any means, but with so many other hotel choices out there, I was hoping for better service so far.

    Beautiful Resort, Great Staff!

The resort was amazing! It’s huge but with the free water taxis and golf cart buses, getting around was actually kind of fun. Both my wife and I have food allergies and these guys are the best in helping you order the perfect meal. So many restaurants and such delicious food. We went to the Chic night club and it was top quality entertainment! Our favourite server was Andre Santiago (AndreS) a university student who worked in both the Mexican and the Japanese restaurant. He went above and beyond to make us feel valued and to help us with our dietary needs. He was so funny and so nice!

Great relaxing holiday by the pool

Recently returned from a week's holiday at this resort hotel. Special mention to Jesus & Luis who were warm welcoming, provided a great service and always with a smile. Definitely the highlight of the holiday. If you are looking for a relaxing week by the pool/beach this resort provides great service, entertainment and with a good variety of food and beverages. Location great only 30 mins from Cancun airport.

    Family of 5, Feb 2020

My Family stayed here the second week of Feb. The resort itself is a little North of downtown Cancun so any excursions or trips to/from airport are a little longer but it's not a big deal just something to plan for. The resort was awesome, we tried to hit every restaurant there but still never made it to their steak house just because of the variety of options. Our fav was definitly the Indian and the Thai. We had a pre-dinner drink and app at the Sports bar often as it's a fun place to hang out, we also hit the coffee shop when we needed a change of pace, both were very nice. We enjoyed the shows, our fav was definitly the rock show with the live band. We also paid extra to see CHIC their cabaret show. I wasn't thrilled about paying extra at an all inclusive but for 2 adults it was worth it if you can spare the extra $$. We did snorkelling and a trip to Tulum as an excursion. The snorkelling was great, staff, ocean life on the reef (saw 2 barracuta and a large stingray). The Tulum tour was just ok. An hour and a half is not enough time especially if you really want a thorough tour and your guide leaves you half way through for free time. I had been there before many years ago with a very thorough guide and it made a huge difference. Back to the resort, the gym is very modern and large with lots of equipement. The buffets are much bigger than we expected with all kinds of options. 2 in our group are Vegan and we thought this might be a problem but it wasn't at all, no matter where we went. The staff everwhere is extremely helpful and friendly, smiles and "good morning" from all staff including cleaning and maintenance, everyone was welcoming. The entertainment staff "POP" were great at getting us involved and always had somethign for us to do. The extra activities like the foam party and mechanical bull riding were cool additions that I did not expect. All around a fantastic time and a great resort. Some things to know before you go which will be helpful but did not impact the quality of our trip like it did with some others. 1) This is also a travel club, they will try to sign you up for a tour in exchange for a spa day. We did not take it, they respected our no thank you. 2) The travel club also has some exclusive areas including some golf carts for getting around. Again know this going in and you won't be offended that you can't use them. There are other golf carts for everyone else but we walked everywhere even though it is a very large resort. 3) They have people walking around the pool and lobby checking your interest in excursions, spa, diving, the travel club, again they respected our no thanks but for some it could be annoying. Overall a great resort, best we've ever stayed at.
