So much fun, so much to see

This family trip was our best yet. So many things to do at the resort. Would be great for kids from 2-18! Our 13 yr old son is hard to please but we saw a smile a few times this week! Loved the Pieces of 8 excursion to see the iguanas, pigs, sharks and exuma cays. Pricey but worth every single penny.

I’m all set with this place…

Be prepared to wait in lines and spend the most ridiculous amount of money you’ve ever seen on average food (at best)… Every morning you’ll find yourself in a 300 person line at Posedions Grill where you’ll be expected to pay $250 for breakfast… For lunch you can dine at any of the below average huts on the property for roughly $300 where they’ll serve you some of the most undercooked/brutal food you’ve ever seen… For dinner (good luck getting a reservation to one of the handful of restaurants on property) you’ll be expected to shell out $400-$600 for a steak that you can get at your local outback or 99 restaurants. Oh and if you can’t get a reservation they’ll just shush you and tell you to go off property (even though we are spending over $1,500.00/night on our room) Bottom line is once you’re there - they don’t care. AT ALL!!!! Bottom line.. there is little to no value at this place for a family.

Great vacation for adults and kids

We went with our family including our 9 and 11 year old grandsons. Had a two bedroom suite in the Royal with a beautiful view. Lots of things for the kids. Slides, pools, beach. Did the dolphin experience. That was a highlight. Food is a little expensive.

    Rip off

Thin room walls… slept with TV on because person in next room was snoring so loud. Drain in bathroom sink plugged. The kind of resort where every chair that has an umbrella is taken… yet 90% of the taken chairs under umbrellas are empty. You get hit with an automatic 15% gratuity even when you are getting takeaway (for example, I buy a coke by the pool… handed an empty cup to fill myself… why am I paying a 15% gratuity?). I travel extensively (diamond at Hilton, titanium with Marriott) and this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in years from a quality/value perspective.

    Amazing stay!

We went for a 5 night stay at the beginning of April and stayed on the 10th floor of the west tower, ocean view. I cannot say enough about Atlantis and the Royal! We loved everything about our stay! The room was updated and beautiful and very clean! The staff was beyond helpful, from check in to check out. Housekeeping was phenomenal. The bellman and any worker always greeted us with a smile and were so lovely to talk to! The grounds at the Atlantis are absolutely beautiful. My only regret of the trip is not booking longer- I was so sad to leave on our last day! Atlantis has a lot to see and we didn’t get to see everything. I loved the central location of the Royal- everything was within a 5 or so minute walk. I especially loved being in the West tower as it was closer to the pools. We will be back again and we will be staying at the Royal! 2 weeks later and I miss it! If you are on the fence I can tell you book the trip! This was hands down one of my favorite places to visit. Thank you to the staff at the Royal for being so phenomenal! We look forward to seeing you again!
