Very nice! Very clean, great food!

27-Feb: We are here now, day 4 of a two-week stay. Very nice resort. Very clean and in good repair. Room is nice and when we asked for a blanket and to fix a light bulb that was not working they did it immediately. Very long beach, lots of chairs and palapas and mangroves to sit under. We had no trouble getting chairs even late morning. One can choose to be near the music and animation or in a quieter area to hear waves. Nice! Buffet has lots of choice and the food is good. We really like going to the buffet. Many À La Carte restaurants also. Entertainment is fabulous! Live music after supper before the show every night, really good professional musicians, different music type each night. Shows are professional quality performers and staging. Last night was the Rock show. Really really good. We have been to many all-inclusives, and seen many shows; we are impressed with the shows here! Great gym and workout options, good trainers. Excellent ! Access to the Coba resort also. Trolleys run regularly all over the resort, so if you want to go somewhere and prefer to not walk, it’s easy. Visited the golf course yesterday; looks very nice. Booked a game booked for the weekend. All in all, we recommend this resort.

    Great getaway

We stayed at the Bahia Principe Grand Tulum in mid-February, and everything about our trip was great. Our room was quiet for the most part (we rarely even saw other travelers and only heard them when they were drunk in the wee hours of the morning ... certainly not the resort's fault!), the magic show and circus in the evenings were spectacular when you consider they're included in your stay, and we loved that there was a separate coffee bar area where we could go in the mornings. There was an ample selection of food, and the waiters were all very friendly. My wife loved that there was a separate shopping area right within the resort where she could buy souvenirs, and it was an added bonus that they had a separate market area outside the shops where "we" could shop for typical Mexican souvenirs. We took a half-day tour to Coba, which was only about 45 minutes from the resort. We also took a taxi to Tulum rather than going on a tour because it's so close. We saw on the resort's website that they're remodeling later this year and would love to return next winter/spring to check it out!

    Amazing Resort!!

We’ve stayed at many resorts and this was by far our favorite. The Brazilian restaurant Tortuga had AMAZING food and service we went back for a second visit it was that good! Joel the manager was so helpful and set up a beautiful rose peddle romantic dinner for us. Carlos and Ganado (I’m probably spelling his name wrong) we’re amazing servers and took very good care of us. If you’re in the main buffet at Tulum the selection is vast and good. I would look for Luis as a server and he’ll make sure your have a pleasant meal and will look out for you and your family. He’s another great server the resort has. Coba beach bar had really funny bartenders that would make me laugh every time I ordered from them. When you first come into the hotel you might run into Joel from the privilege club and he’ll answer all your questions and make you feel very welcome. Overall the beach was beautiful the property was clean the food was very good and the staff all around were amazing. Lots and I mean lots of entertainment. We are definitely going back and I would recommend this place to my family and friends. And if you made it this far and haven’t noticed by now the staff here is Awesome!

    Beautiful resort with great staff

This is our first all inclusive so we weren't sure what to expect. The resort is beautiful and well laid out. The food was great in the buffet but the ala carte restaurants were fantastic. Such great food. The only thing we didn't have was pool side drink service due to the time of year but we didn't mind going to get our drinks at the pool bar. The beach was horrors. We are early risers so we would go down early morning and they would be they cleaning the beach of all the seaweed that All the resorts are having issues with. They did a great job. We truly enjoyed our experience there and will certainly go again.
