We came here for our honeymoon and Jose was our host. We loved it! It is a very nice resort. The acrobat show was awesome and our server Joely was always on top of it. We will definitely be coming back.

I've been to a lot of places, but the Breathless Resort and Spa XHale Club was one of my best experiences. Our host David was awesome! All of the food was deliciously prepared and the accommodations were 5 star quality!
We had a great experience. Everything was clean and very accessible. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great service on the beach or any time we needed something. We will definitely be coming back. Eduardo, andrea, yuderi and Ricardo These guys went above and beyond to take care of our every need! Great drinks!
This is not the nicest resort I've ever been to and we had multiple issues while here. That being said...overall, I would definitely recommend this resort to others. We had such a good time and the entertainment far exceeded our expectations to make up for it's shortcomings. The BAD: The girl who checked us in (and out) was terrible. We asked multiple staff multiple times about joining exhale and they said, "you don't want to" or "I don't know what you're talking about" (honestly we probably would have bought it but in the end we're glad we didn't get it). The "welcome breakfast" the next morning is a sales trap, don't do it (we wasted 3 hours of our day doing it for a $50 voucher for the gift shop). We thought it would be more of an "orientation" since it's called a welcome breakfast but it wasn't. They forgot to bring us our champagne and chocolates for our anniversary and breakfast in bed (it's fine but pretty bad customer service). They also botched our hibachi reservations one night but were able to fit us in to hibachi at Now Onyx. There's some cosmetic things in restaurants and in the rooms that need repairs. Unfortunately, the sun sets behind the resort so you don't really get to see the sunset on the beach (if you're awake for sunrise, I'm sure its awesome). The GOOD: The beach here is fantastic. It's very isolated (I didn't want a beach were you could see resorts all around yours). Part of the ocean is a little rocky but there's plenty of spots that are sandy. Beach service is good and the bar (and lunch grill) is very close. It is annoying they have sales people walking the beach trying to sell you junk. Both the pools are great. Food is overall decent (the lunch grill is great, hibachi is awesome, filet was excellent). Occasionally I had a dinner come out that was luke warm. Drinks are good. Without the exhale upgrade, the liquor isn't great but I'm not complaining because then you can drink all day without getting hammered. I drank the tap water, ate salads, and never had any stomach issues. The gym is nice. Being able to access Now Onyx is great (went to their sports bar to watch Sunday night football, also went to their ice cream shop a couple times). The entertainment here is amazing! We had no ideal we were in for such a great time. Foam party, zumba on the beach, pool volleyball everyday, water bikes, the acrobatic show was stunning, white beach party, dance party, it goes on and on and on. We made it to the night club one night and had a great time there too. The room was fine (we were completely satisfied with our 3rd story tropical view), bed was comfortable, house keeping does a good job, fridge is only stocked with presidente and Dos Equis (soft drinks and water). I did bring damprid and it collected a lot of water. The lowest the thermostat got was 71 but it was comfortable. We always felt safe at our resort. Overall, I would highly recommend Breathless to anyone looking for a great time, beautiful beach, and good pools (why else would you be going to Punta Cana??).
Murphi at Wink
Murphi calmed the surf with those special sangria shots. Super nice and was a pleasure to have as our bartender. This guy always was smiling, welcoming you to enjoy a cocktail. He took care of our party. Go see him.
