Excellent visit once again
Keep coming back to the Fiesta. Great location close to restaurants, Fantastic beach, very busy but ideally located. Good snorkelling and clean. One of the pools is being renovated, but once done should be great. Staff are brilliantt, helpful and rooms very well serviced
Really nice stay.
It was pretty nice to stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel has a huge territory and big pool. We hadn't a breakfast option, it was a little bit expensive for us (about 30 U.S Dollars per person). If you need a cheap breakfast you can find it just in front of the hotel. We had a wonderful sea-view from our balcony. The room was large and clean, we had all the necessary amenities and a coffee machine.
bad Experience at my check in
Bad experience at the check in, they don’t offer me any upgrade I ask for upgrade and was turn down, Gerardo was very rude, I request to stay on the 10th floor and he just told me that my membership doesn’t apply for that floor that I have to stay on the 4th floor and more bad experiences I need to see how I can cancel my membership. Unfortunately is the second time I have problems at the same location.
Smell From Painting was overwhelming
The hotel is renovating which is good, but better wait till they are finished. We were on the 15th floor first and had to move as the smell, from painting and varnish was overwhelming. We got moved to the 2nd floor and had bright blue lights shining in our room all night long. There was still painting on that floor but the smell was not as strong and we couldn't bear moving again. The pool is under construction as well. I imagine when its done it will be nice with fountains etc. Not many of the staff spoke english so it made it hard to communicate any problems or requests ( I wish I spoke more spanish). This is really much more of a locals hotel. The valet staff were amazing and so helpful with the car coming in and out. Also the guy who checked us in was amazing - I forget his name.
New Year in Acapulco
We spent 12 days at the Fiesta Americana celebrating the New Year. This is our 3rd trip to celebrate the New Year in Mexico. We have always been very happy with stay and this year was no exception. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing including the New Year celebration by the poolside. My only suggestion would be that there are more menu food choices on the menu; however, you can always go outside to find other restaurants in walking distance. The room decor could use some upgrading as well although it was very clean and comfortable. As usual, the Fiesta Americana team exceeded by expectations.
